Guys I have a genuine question. When we are striking their Air base ,why do we have news of only the runway being damaged. Shouldn't there be some damage to their fighter jets ? Or they are parked in some safe bunkers ?

Hardened bunkers. The game is to make them unable to take off by damaging runways. This is why you don't see multiple strikes.

Game is to bait them out because runways are easy to fix. But as soon as it is they'll try to fly off elsewhere so the moment they start flying they get smacked or the runway hit again.

You don't need to deal with radars, jammers, missiles of any wonderwaffen if they can't even take off. Since they can't exactly hide a strip, and we seem to have the capability to strike at will, this is incredibly cost effective and efficient method to keep them grounded.

Did IAF hit any ammunition dump, fuel storage, logistics hub, key bridges, roads that'd affect PA or they are just focusing on SEAD/DEAD?

SEAD/DEAD is the prelude to any serious air campaign you neutralize enemy air defences so your aircraft can fly in unmolested. Hitting ammo dumps and fuel depots comes later, and only if the objective is escalation, not signalling. You don’t knock over a hornet’s nest when all you want is to swat one hornet.

We wont get this open window of opportunity like now. China shall give AD net for free (albiet under its thumb snd watch) next time. We could have blasted their assets on ground. Make them spend billions on new assets (which they wont get for free ...prolly one of the few things).

if we read all of GoI's official statements together, gormint is basically saying we are done with our response to terror attack thru first op of op sindoor. if pakjabi army wants to attack India, we will respond .

Externally, ‘non-escalation’ mantra is for western consumption to remain in their good books.

Internally, gormint will keep denying an exit door and prolonge the pain which is sure to end in one thing only.

We don’t know whether this gormint will stay the course though.

There are a lot of videos in circulation showing Mobile artillery units of Pakistan targeting India's civilian areas. It will be good if DFBians seek information on whether our ISR radars are tracking and hunting them. I mean, this should be a basic tactic employed throughout the border.

It seems Indian Military extracted its toll after pakistani failed strikes … pakistanis barely hit few civilian buildings and some minor damage on Udhampur and Pathankot, in response we hit some costly Command and Communication (meaning air traffic control building, radar and signal equipments and ADS and runways)

Probably they postponed the press conference to let the military hit(and they hit all the target without any issues) … pakistani military infra is basically a fair game now for India…

So now we can trash the IWT
And free to hit directly on paki bases in future

Just pour 100 billion on domestic ADS systems in next 10 years and we will be having 100X ADS capabilities against paki strike capabilities

Yes, because it’s not about showing our bases are intact that’s expected unless you’re completely incompetent. What matters is deterrence we want to change Pakistani behaviour. You don't deter a state like Pakistan with one-off strikes. Their strategic doctrine is built around plausible deniability and nuclear shielding. Real deterrence is about imposing sustained costs economic, diplomatic, and military while keeping your own escalatory ladder in full view.
