Is this guy reading this forum or what ? This is what I and a few guys speculated @Fauji Foundation targeting our military & civilian infrastructure like bases , industrial hubs , power stations in the hinterland as a response besides his prescription of no boots on the ground.

I don't believe in the nebulous DS bull crap he's piling on but I'm sure countries inimical to us like China will look to fish in troubled waters , Trump will support us but demand his pound of flesh while the Euroturds will be experiencing schadenfreude .

Loss of a fighter jet matters. Jets like Rafale are 100 USD 100 million. The entire terror infrastructure destroyed last night will still be less than the total cost of missiles we used let alone a Single Rafale jet.
Cost vs Cost if we lose mich more money than Pakistan does, we are not winning. We cant win a war if every time we attack we loose our jets/ships. Ground vehicles are a different thing.

Kinda annoyed that the armed forces aren't giving proper details but I suppose the op isn't over yet and its an evolving situation so makes sense

This war is going to be measured on objective, not attrition.
No one here is expecting the government to give us all the details of how many bullets they used and how many jets they lost.
We will buy more jets in case we lose.
Also, readers and watchers need to understand that IAF do not operate on the American doctrine of Air Supremacy but on ingress, raid, front pressing and air skirmishes.

Ball is in Paxtan's court. Depends on how they escalate , how we tackle that escalatory measure & then how do we respond. Remember lots of steps up the escalatory ladder .

For starters Bahawalpur has been targeted. Unlike last time where we targeted a place namely Balakot inside Paxtan ( as opposed to a place within the larger J&K disputed region , whether in India of Paxtan ) which is a part of KPK , this time we've hit the heart of Paxtan - viz the Punjab.

So you can definitely expect something proportionate. Possibly an AF or Army base but could be a power station or some industrial complex in our heartland too.

Drones were used handsomly and are being claimed as downed Jets most probably. IAF have categorically said that all man are accounted for. Everything else is propoganda !!!
