Operation Sindoor

I have a question for our in-house experts on modern aerial combat
Would you prefer to engage in air to air combat / dogfight during daytime or at night ?
Not an expert but will still chime in because I'm shameless.

In BVR, it rarely makes any difference whether it's day or night. You're just shooting at pixels after locking on to them. AWACS make a world of difference then.

Dogfights are SUPER rare and depend so much on what both aircraft are doing.

If you just want to get away from the dogfight, you probably will want to risk getting into it at night because visibility is low, especially if you don't use flares or afterburners.

Why any modern aircraft would willingly get into a dogfight when they have the initiative and full battle load is beyond me but the MIG 29s and especially the SU30s that IAF uses are beautiful dogfighters because of their turn rate and thrust to weight ratio. I doubt JF 17s or anything below a SU57 or F22 (F35 isn't that maneuverable) will be able to best it in a dogfight between pilots of equal skill.

All of this is just internet info and time spent in DCS talking so take a bucket of salt and shove it in a puki's ass.

Perhaps it's time to dust off the Lanjote & Bandala Seri playbook. Or find a new psycho Sunni group in KPK/Punjab that can execute a second APS Peshawar - now that TTP has stopped doing such things. It's a tried and tested formula, and the only language those animals understand. Civilians for Civilians, Children for Children. Existential wars don't end until one faction ends, and are not fought or won cleanly.

Meanwhile Super Islamic Taliban has again taken side with Hindu India. :tea:

Pakis are crying PROFUSELY as they thought Afganistan is their slave bitch and strategik dapth. The tea which ISI enjoyed when US ran away became sour. As a fact he got court martialed.
