Can’t agree. Pakistanis *have* to do something, they’ve been caught with their pants down and more importantly this time India has made them bleed from the heart. Very powerful people have been touched by India, there will be a demand for action
Frankly deescalation at this point would be a net positive for India hugely- yes jet losses are unfortunate but the point was made and those funeral images are worth their weight in gold, India should be using them as evidence for the next decade plus of Pakistani state complicity in terror
Lick wounds, learn tactical lessons, realise next time this has to be fought having invested heavily in a domestic MIC at scale and move on, FTAs need to be signed, India needs to hoover up as much business leaving China as possible
Let the pakis feel the loss of IWT in time
I am looking at this from a different lens with a long-term view for Hindus.
Let me reframe this:
Pakistanis thought their mainland is invincible with nuclear cover and they can run their terror enterprise without any fear of India imposing any significant cost to their business of running a nation that has the pretence of a normal nation-state, having a thriving economy, culture, international relationships and a place at the table in big forums.
Pakistani think India can not criple them completely and they can easily destabilise us, waiting, we will implode sooner or later. This is what they talk about. Like a crow who waits for the Oxen to die one day to take a beak out of his flesh. This is the most disgusting and subhuman way to exist, but they are existing this way.
While waiting, they have damaged us significantly and bogged us down militarily. Do loss profit analysis, especially the precious Hindu blood that has been spilt in the last 5 decades without gaining an inch of land.
I have no problem with techncrats and fan boys, I see their utility, but my larger question is that we are not seeing things beyond few days.
Now Pakistan is getting frankly bombed.
The signalling is very clear that India is ready to risk and endure attrition, but will keep targeting Pakistan's terror assets. This is the Modi doctrine at work.
Modi doctrine is the focal point of this debate, and the analysts have to be honest enough to see if this Doctrine is working or not.
We have to see if analysts are also focusing on another Pakistani flank that is priming itself without any formal alliance to become a sizable population in the next few decades, using secular democracy to their advantage to disenfranchise Hindus.
The question is on Modi's dispensability because he is not going to be here forever, and his doctrine will set many bad examples.
Secular simping, assuming Hindus are communal and did well this time for not falling into the Pakistani trap, giving the controle of narrative to JIhadi ecosystem that first kills hindus and then come out to preach peace asking Hindu communal tommies to clam down so and so forth.
My demand is that we must not waste the chances given to us by Pakistan. Have comprehensive plans that go beyond defanging them and act fast.
A legitimate, fanatic Islamic nation in our neighbourhood is not good for Hindus. This is a localised but a war of civilisation. We call ourselves a civilisation, but do not know that civilisation only thrives in hegemony and fights for the sake of fighting.
