Operation Sindoor

India-Pakistan: 125 Jets Clash in One of Largest Dogfights in Recent History

is the scale being exaggerated??

One of the nights to remember in IAF history, I don't think Pakistani Generals have enough left in them to make any aggressive stance against India.

We now just can't back off . Need areas of PoK but no muzzafarabad or mirpur kind of rabid anti Bharat areas. Need to take Gilgit balistan that too we need to remove people who settled from main land pak.
Need to take higher posts so that there is no option for infiltration.

Need to take care of sindhi Hindus. Can't imagine what will be happening to them.

And baloch should be free . Tak Harmandir sahib.

This is min now that needs to be done. No backing off under international pressure

100%

> All of G-B + key strategic features/infiltration routes in what Pak calls "AJK"
> High Hindu Pop. % Districts in Eastern Sindh (I posted a map of such districts earlier in the thread) - both for the Sindhi Hindus whose lives are absolute hell today, and also for those Sindhis in India who didn't get an inch of their ancestral land or their own home state (they mostly live in GJ, RJ and places like Mumbai now)
> Strategic features like Akhnoor Dagger & Shakargarh Bulge in West Punjab
> Sharda Peeth in "AJK" and any significant Sikh sites close to the border in West Punjab (eg Kartarpur Sahib)

Not all of it necessarily has to happen at once. But these are absolute must-haves at some point in time. Ideally we would have had a leadership in '47 that didn't surrender them in the first place, but mistakes of the past have to be fixed eventually.

True, but only to a limit. Too much bullshittery and we might start slipping towards a pakistan type scenario where common sense is discarded to favour more convenient stories.
We are more into breaking news type. I also feel this is the best we can do to keep the public morale high.
Remember Balakot? We completely lost the info war. Our public was literally praying for Abinandan return. Our GoI had to ditch all other plans and focus on his return. It messed up the whole thing.

This is the best time to test experimental weapons. Pakistanis won't risk more fighter jets as they probably lost 4-6 per reports on mainstream media and SM over last night and today.

These loitering munitions will work well with Bayraktar TB2/Akinci drones with PAF and Turkey probably wants to see how these work in a contested AD environment and compare with their data.

Remember that Turkey also operates the S400 so they may leverage performance data to US in exchange for reentry into F 35 program.

If they have a portable version of CELiK KUBBE (Steel Dome) then it may be used as a counterpart of Akashteer (IACCS). It seems that due to drone attacks in the afternoon and tonight, Pakistan has probably lost a HQ-9/16 battery.
some of these systems are not 1-2-3 out of the box user friendly systems would take time to even train
people on them s-400 system reportedly take 10 weeks of technical training.

patriot missile system operator takes 20 weeks of advanced individual training.

Then it's atleast the loitering munitions. Maybe even some EW/Jammer equipment. I don't think artillery and ammunition is the top priority for Pakistan.

Alright, folks, the US says it won't get involved as it has nothing to do with the region. Abbu has ditched Pakistan.

US Vice President JD Vance says India-Pakistan conflict is 'fundamentally none of our business and has nothing to do with America’s ability to control it' -

Unless and until Pakistan tries another misadventure, are we going to respond to the drone attack, or is that enough? Since we successfully intercepted them, and we're practically a winner at this point.

Karachi has not been attacked and no credible sources confirm any fighter jet being shot down, or even of PAF intruding our airspace.

Last thing Pakistan would want is PAF pilot being captured and being forced to say "Vadapav is fantastic". That kind of PR will be death of Pakistani Armed Forces.
Paki aircraft (JF-17 or F-16 not confirmed) has def been shot down and pilot captured, I have some internal sources but wont say more for obvious reason

My personal opinion what happened tonight was nothing short of a war declaration by Pakistan.

They displayed zero remorse (obviously) but are also hellbent on 1 upping us no matter the cost. They also have no qualms about targeting civilians.

India should and i hope it would retaliate with disproportionate power rather than a proportionate one.
