I noticed that everyone before calling for "restraint" showed sympathy for Pahalgam attack. Otherwise if we had not goodwill, and to some extent fear, and I think it is fear that they first condemn Pahelgam.

Also if jet fell on their side cant we just go little ways in and recover it , just a suggestion.

My conclusion based on last 2 nights i.e. lack of immediate offensive retaliation. We are going to defend vigorously when attacked to minimize any damage to our own property or personnel. We will not go on a knee jerk counter attack. The counter attack will be at time of our choosing & not when enemy wants us to

Nothing of that sort happened. Last night we were taken on an imaginary ride to la la land where we downed 3 AEWACs, downed 4 F-16s, captured 2-3 Pilots, burned down Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad, & got Munir kicked out.

Fucking media just for the sake of TRPs and Social media handles for the sake of engagement lost the meaning of Narrative war and made fools of our own country men. Now, people who were happy earlier with the way Indian Armed Forces are handling the situation will be disgruntled as they are setup for these unreal expectations.

But the stocks of the ammunition for AA guns must be easy to replenish? One of the concern about these swarm drone attacks has been that our S400s and Akash might be wasted on these cheap projectiles while when the bigger ones arrive we will be found lacking in numbers.
Guns being able to take out these drones are rather smart. Has this succeeded anywhere else?

Looks like we can add Air Defence to our "we've cooked" List. We have proper top tier PROVEN air defence and Missiles now. Exports to follow.
Imagine 5 years from now with full induction of DRDO Directed Energy Weapon regiments

We still have a ways to go for advanced Large indigenous kamikaze drones like harop as well as MALE/HALE UAV's. I'm sure that after we've tasted how effective they have been, The MOD is bound to focus on them. We finally have first hand exp of modern warfare - this is prolly the greatest outcome of sindoor.

Also creating something equivalent to NATOs Link-16, the Chinese have greatly helped Pakistan in this domain. now that pak uses more and more Chinese weapons, it will be easier for them to have cohesive battlespace awareness architecture.

You can't even use s400 against swarm drones, they are too tiny and too many to take down for even 3 or 4 missiles. Even akash might not fare well against swarm drones. You need area wide damage munitions, like air burst, or ew weaponsystem. Its like asking a boxer to take care of a bunch of flies by punching at them. Better get a swatter.

thats what is happening.. its just s400 has more hype than Akash. both are equally effective
