Finding it quite surprising that Pakistan has not even remotely referred to last night night. Similarly zero proof on shooting the so called Indian jets.

Considering the amount of pressure on them to retaliate they are in a catch -22 situation. If you declare that you attacked, you have escalated but importantly have nothing to show for it. If you dont announce, you are a coward whose airspace got violated for 2 days, but have not done anything.

I think the military are desperately looking for any kind of a win, something that they can show to their population. If India retailiates, and targets the air bases, they have no option to involve air jets to retaliate, which has the potential to go very bad since our defense is much better than their defense.

Basically, potentially what is good for Munir is not good for the country. With so many power centres (Sharif, PTI and other generals) And in times like this, who knows what that could lead to?

I dont see why we are suspending IPL. From operational standpoint, can we not just shift it to eastern india or southern india ? thats completely out of the ambit of PAF.
We are either sending pakistan a message via this (that we are going all-in) or we are expecting this to escalate rapidly and taking precautionary steps.

If it has safety for both the propeller and the seeker... Maybe maintenance failed to arm the nose in a rush or scramble?

It's hard to find stuff on AA but I think I remember hearing somewhere that some missiles have different arming mechanism (and safety) for the rocket part and the seeker/explosive part.

Is it a possibility?

I know 100% that (according to open source) some of the Active radar homing missiles can be fired without a lock by the missile on the radar signature and it acquires it a second or two later by either data sharing with the host jet or even just mad dogging (hehe) it without launch authority.

Someone please validate my intellectualism so I can brag about it to a bunch of nobodies.

i am just using basic logic and some educated science guesses here.
Think about it- you fire a missile. it has an active guidance and a detonator.One or both can fail.
Therefore:
a)If detonator fails but guidance is intact, it enters terminal homing phase, then breaks apart on impact.

b)If detonator is okay and guidance fails -it blows up depending on type of detonator ( if its timed, then after x-amount of flight time, if its proximity, then after impact when it runs outta gas).

c) detonator and guidance works = target goes boom

d) detonator AND guidance fails = thing runs outta gas, glides like a glide vehicle and goes plop on the ground & suffers minor damage. nothing explodes coz fuse is also dead.

missiles dont fall nearly intact outta the sky unless scenario d) happens, in like 99% of the cases from what i can tell.

As time passes, these addictive success stories will get fewer and far in between. Pakistan isn't Palestine. Once incursion starts, we'll find out how hard Pakis have dug beyond their rock bottom and into the mantle in terms of their Army.

Chem warfare isnt effective enough to use in modern conflict.Major downside involves shaming your forces publically for war crimes, helping shift narrative against you.

We have enough requisite batteries with sufficient SAMs in our inventory to decimate entire PAF twice or thrice.. rest assured.

We have full spectrum coverage over paxtani airspace..

Nd with integrated IACCS node with supporting elements of MRSAM, AKASH, SPYDER & BDM.. our ADS envelope is one hell of a system.

So the reports were true afterall!

So here it is, the first image of the captured PAF Pilot.

The pilot is either from a shot down JF-17 or F-16. I don't see any reports of J-10 or PAF Mirages entering the Indian Airspace let alone us shooting them down. So we either shot down multiple JF-17s or F-16s or both.

I hope the Pilot is safe and in stable condition and being rushed to the nearest hospital as soon as possible to get medical treatment.

There are some reports suggesting that the search is on for more pilots in the area but this cannot be confirmed at the moment. If more than one Pilot ejected then it would mean that the aircraft we shot down was a dual seater F-16 or JF-17 and it is only a matter of time before we capture the doosra bandha.

This is a major success for our armed forces! We shot down their jet and captured their pilot! Now all we need to wait for is further details about the pilot, i.eg his face, his identity etc which will all be released when the time comes.

Now revenge for "tea is fantastic" is in the making!! This is great!

no chance.
Russia is itelf in middle of war and their war is the real main theatre war for drones, SEAD/DEAD currently.
They aint gonna spare a single s-400 for us now and i wouldnt expect them to either.
