I mean everyone in media cited sources. Even the trusted journalists. I find it intriguing that it got turned off suddenly. At post 12:30am I believe.

I have got a feeling that it was a highly coordinated information warfare.

So what was it yesterday?

I feel it was a information warfare drill. Govt saturated the information domain to elicit a reaction from Pakis.

Aka force them into panic mobilization, reveal their assets, confuse ISR, probe the pakis response and lastly test global and Indian audience reactions

Yesterday felt like a rehearsal to what's to come.

This is my 2 cents.

or maybe some of those thing did happen then govt said STFU for now. whichever the case, this ain't over yet. let's wait for the pressers for now.

What's the game here? Either they intercept drones and reveal their locations, or they keep letting drones hit them?

This policy of using own face to hide your arms will result in teeth being knocked out.

Jus watched JD episode with Maj Gen Rajiv Narayanan and LT Gen P R Shankar.
Maj Gen Rajiv Narayanan said 3 pilots captured 1 of which is critically injured.

Now don't ban me I am quoting a retired officer.

Crisp news, rightly done, 2-3 times a day was so powerful. That's what the Govt now wants you to "trust".

One example - I got call from worried neighbour parent today morning at 6am whether to send kid to school. Both of them are consistently watching Peepublic in such a loud volume that we can hear the news inside our home. Also, seems like someone had sent them a whatsapp fwd that all ncr schools are closed. Govt is possibly now realising this largesse given to alternate sources of news is causing harm and panic and has come down heavily.

My mom got so happy when the news said they caught Paki pilot.

similar story on my side,
my father was fumbling through news channels and somehow decided to stay tuned on...ZEE NEWS :frusty:

i tried to explain him that it's blatantly illogical that we would've progressed this astronomically in war and bombed shebaz sharif's home or bombarded karachi etc - he simply avoided conversion with me as he was too much focused at tv, simply waving his hand dismissively at me 🤷‍♂️

This "Ekanamic MUHHH Sanctions lag jayega hum pe" is probably the most self-defeating internalized assumption we as Indians have. The reason you have already highlighted, I'll just provide a practical, real-world example.

It turns out that all the big chain markets, retail stores and corporate outlets and luxury brands that made a huge dilating of leaving Russia and imposing sanctions for the Ukraine war, have all been secretly still paying rent and taxes to the Russian Government in hopes that they will be allowed to come back, once they can do so in a manner that is acceptable to their own Western governments; even tho most likely Russia will never take them back.

So, I hope and pray, that this irrational phobia of sanctions and "REEEE GORA WILL TAKE AWAY OUR POCKET MONEY" goes away; in fact it would be great if we moved more and more to an autarkic system. It is why Russia has been able to survive the sanctions regime swimmingly thus far.....

P.S: It is at times like this I really lament the death of DFI, there were many posts of mine on there, explaining (in a succint and detailed manner, if I do say so myself) amongst other things, how an autarkic country will more or less be able to survive sanctions unscathed. So hard to replicate the same here:frown:
 
Does anyone know what drones are they using ? They don't have anything like harop or Shaheed, right ?

I tried watching the same, somewhere in the start Maj Narayanan claimed DJ ISPR admitted downing of 2x JF 17, obviously referring to the fake video that was floating yesterday, and then i stopped it.
They are also victims of misinformation, wilful or otherwise, only they can tell.

Looks like Pakis want to de escalate.

But Govt. Is in no mood to give them a off ramp and neither should it.

They have activated their assets here to pressurize the govt.

I feel Govt of India is now focused on dragging them to escalation hell. All the while saying pakis are the ones escalating.

It's like I keep a guy on chokehold and then keep asking him why is he being so aggressive. And why is he threatening me. All the while tightening my choke.

India is also too big to fail, we are an unsaturated market of 1.3 billion people with a large youth population.
Already because of this sanctions drama they have shut off a lot of countries like Russia and Iran, doubt they would do it to India, even if applied they would be removed in months or years.

Govt needs to have a titanium spine and tell all these de-escalation peddlers to fuck right off, the nation stands with them.

It is all a bluff and they won't apply sanctions and cut investment, it is only a threat to get us to stop whipping their slave Paapistan.
