They need to pick someone who sounds less nervous/shaky and doesn't pause and say "uhhh" after every single word. I'm not trying to nitpick but these things matter, especially to an outside audience. Find someone with the articulation, confidence (real or fake) and charisma/presence of a Tharoor to be our "face" to the world.

Who exactly are you speaking about?

I agree they need someone who is very articulate
 
For me 3 important points from the PC

1. The attack was much more widespread than imagined
2. We could have simply said "Drones", saying "Turkish Drones" was on purpose.
3. The statement about Pakistan is using civilian aircraft as shield is important. Building image of pakistan as an irresponsible state. This was directed at Western countries

Now it has been made public next time when Indian SAMs and BVRs start flying, any civilian planes hit cant be blamed on India, anyway better than one paki terrorists we get to kill more. Next time we get clean airspace for SAMs and BVRs.

I should have included his name in the original comment. I'm talking about Vikram Misri (think that's his name) who shows up with the two servicewomen to do the mini-briefings every day. Especially if/when they start consistently fielding questions in these meetings - someone very quick and sharp will be needed.
