Operation Sindoor

Well why civil drills then? Aiims telling they are ready for any mass casuality events. Every city is on high alert. In fact, instead of decreasing it's increasing.

When was the last time this happened? Even in far off places, trains are shipping air defence weapons to protect industrial sites.

This is the beginning.

Last night was a probing attack. Today or tomorrow, the real attack might come. So I feel we shouldn't be baited to do what Paki wants.
Prepare for the worse and hope for better.

The govt. it seems has hinted at giving the pakis the last shot and deescalating but is leaving the escalation part to pakis. Thus still preparing for the war.

Else the response should have been: our response would be proportionate in the domain. Just like in yesterday's briefing. The specific mention of destruction of one more AD in our babooz vocabulary means they have already retaliated for last nights misadventure of punjabi army. So, for them case is closed. The govt. being suspicious of pakis is still preparing for worse. They are hoping pakis don't retaliate.

Not really.
  • We smashed them across the board at 9 different places
  • Took out major terror targets and sponsors
  • Took out an HQ-9 battery
  • Took out an F 16 and 2 x JF 17 last night
  • Possibly another Mirage V and JF 17 on 7th May 2025
  • Hit deep into the heart of their country
So far they have
  • 1 probable Rafale kill, maybe 1 more Mig 29 kill
  • 500 FPV drones sent across the border
That is incredibly lopsided whichever way you cut this.
Modi set out to remove asymmetric warfare as an option from the paki table, to tell them that any terrorist attack will spark military action. This objective has not been met. In fact JeM is planning an IC814-styled attack as revenge for Bahawalpur redecoration.

India can only meet its objective of removing asynchronous warfare from the paki table by continuing to escalate to the upper rungs of the escalation ladder (eg: sinking their ships, blockade, ground invasion), and inflicting territorial costs in PoK. All India has achieved is another ceasefire during which they'll plug their air-defence gaps and hit us with their next terrorist attack.

They both are reporting those flimsy reports of 5 Indian jets shot down.
That's all they were paid to say sir.
When they are paid to say more, they will say more. Otherwise they will retract.

I think the biggest story nobody is paying attention to is that India Inc wants a rapid de-escalation, even if it means making idiotic concessions to pakis.

Those press releases by RIL and Adani yesterday weren't meant to say "we are supporting the war effort," they were meant to serve as cover for any future accusations that they scuttled India's war efforts.

Many manufacturers have been offered discounts by their Chinese suppliers to discourage GoI from continuing on the warpath.

Then import and screw the domestic supplier. Or take over the production using emergency wartime powers.

If our industry can't support us during wartime they are not different than any foreign suppliers. Both only value money.

They have put their own civilians at highly Risk.

What a zombie kom! Playing Hamas.

It's actually clever in a dark way. If we hit a civilian aircraft trying to intercept, they get to showcase us as the villian and agressor.

It's just a fact of fighting jehadis. That's why this playing proportional doesn't work with them. They aren't really a sane opposition.

Did people really expect them to reveal their cards in a presser? :facepalm4: The cues lie in the civil defence measures, suspension of IPL etc.
Bhai india will not any go offensive strike unless or untill pakistan koi khel na khele.body langauge se pata chal raha hai ki we settle the score with you by distroying ur ad radar center

Was the AWACS eeryie or Chinese junk??
Looks like pakistani airforce lost an eyrie awac and many more aircrafts, they were trying our strategy of overwhelming ADs and create an opening to launch guided bombs, but were taken down inside pakistan. Hence, suddenly they stoped fearing more losses.

Who said anything about replacing him from his position? But that doesn't mean he has to be the face of India's PR/Narrative Setting. "Rules" - if such rules even exist - are there to be broken, particularly in extreme circumstances. If they could identify appropriate talent, there would be nothing strange or wrong about making him/her the face. Some people are meant to be public faces, some are meant to make things happen quietly in the backroom. Different strengths and weaknesses, Horses for Courses.
A press conference of the Government of India is a formal event. The highest bureaucrat in the department has more weight in the eyes of the world than someone of lower rank by virtue of his office/ portfolio. The kind of ad hoc arrangement you are suggesting (subjectively judge who is the best public speaker from arbitrary set of people) can not be codified in a rulebook and hence isn't followed. My last on this OT

I heard their SAABs are old and grounded .

They are using Chinese ones.
It's the other way around. Their zdk something something from China have turned out to be costly, useless junk and have been retired. SAABs on the other hand, pukis love them, even got couple more of them recently, total I think 9 SAAB

Lets just accept our limitations. There is a reason this country was invaded by foreign invaders. If you don't even have the guts to use the word ''disproportionate' then might as well accept your place in the global hierarchy and move on! And don' you think pushing the caste census issue in between all this was not politically well calculated by Modi. Its all about votes. It is all about POWER. My two cents.

You realize this is just for the global audience right. Why would they say something like that in a press conference? You have to try and understand the optics and the narrative here, India is trying to paint Pakistan as the aggressor and India rightfully defending itself against Paki aggression, essentially forcing *Pakistan* to de-escalate.

Nothing in the press conference means *WE* are de-escalating. Heavy shelling is still going on in Poonch and elsewhere. Don't take these pressers as some gospel truth. It's mostly messaging.

It's very simple, to deter the enemy the cost you inflict has to be unacceptable to them.

I don't believe any material cost will matter to Porkies. The only thing that they won't be able to sell to their citizens is change of borders.

So unless we escalate to this level, their behaviour will never change and we will be stuck in the vicious cycle.

this is just for the foreign audience .

real shit about to start soon.

we still have scores to settle.

Unless and until the mulla jernal tries something stupid, we have decided to deescalate and move on. But it will be a blunder if we allow a face saving exit for munira. Honestly we are missing out a an golden opportunity which we have been waiting for many decades.
