You can't be in power with drones wrecking havoc.

If you believe BJP is a nationalist party, then that logic too leads to BJP led GoI putting an end to this attacks.

2) Drone attacks continue and Indian AA keeps fending them off. Nothing hardens a populace more than being under constant blackouts and tracer rounds cutting up the sky, drones falling down on your head, your neighbour getting blown up in their backyard.

3) Pakistan runs out of drones. Well, what will they do then? Put auto repeat order for six aircraft full of drones? They can't afford.

We aren't losing in any scenario. Most likely, we are waiting for them to be frustrated and start sending manned craft/BM along with drones. It is only day 2 and already the pak state machinery is panicking.

You can't wish for a Israel like hardened populace without taking the sky show of missiles and AA.

The biggest win till now is that we've been able to convert this from a terrorist attack narrative to Pakistan Army initiative. Those losses were followed up with decisive and visible actions. What we are mostly seeing for the past 24 hours are "stale footage", "doctored videos", and "political meetings". There is no point in waiting, time for resolute and disproportionate response has come.
