It always amazes me people dont realize, that a missile and space booster rocket is the SAME DAMN THING. Missile is just a more compact portable version of it. - they are BOTH ballistic rockets, both with the SAME guidance system.
And btw, just PUTTING a rocket in mars orbit at this distance requires guidance precision similar to lobbing a missile from India and hitting the oval office toilet.

So those who think that one of the only 4 nations on planet to put an orbiter around mars sucks at making the same rocket go 1/100th the distance accurately are either ignorant of this fact or straight dehatis.

Yes. they do. Remember, nuclear bombs are air-detonation devices.
You WANT them to not hit a target but detonate over one, to expose target to maximum energy output possible - if you hit ground and explode, about 20-30% minimum of your energy output is absorbed by the ground.
Nagasaki bomb as exploded at nearly 2000 feet altitude.

So whether they have credible nuke delivery weapon or not, is dependent on whether we have interception at 2000 feet or not. To shoot down a nuke missile, you are not waiting for it to drop in altitude and enter terminal phase and get close - you have to shoot it at 2000 feet altitude and i am willing to bet if 1945 nuke levelled a city at 2000 feet detonation, 2025 nuke can do it at 10,000 feet altitude and achieve same result.

This is why even Amrikka was so Stern that FAAK YOU RUSSIA DONT YOU DAAAAAARE NUKE UKRAINE - amrikka would've have issued that threat, if it could intercept missile at that high an altitude successfully to neutralize a nuke - that is ofcourse my guess, i am not sure up to what altitude the ADS are effective at.
