PAF had no option than to go for a dog fight.

With India bombing their Air bases, they are looking at possibility of running out of airfields and airplanes before any actual air battle.

Smart of India to push PAF into this scenario.

Unlikely, I believe a CAP must have been launched after the attack, they are our defenders now. Jets who have completed a mission may face fuel shortage in a prolonged combat too. This is my opinion though.
