Cowards fire at DMax (~120-140 km) and run away, praying one of them hits. That's why you see so many PL-15s lying around.

But in face-to-face WVR fight or anything < 100 km IAF should have an upper hand.

F-16 and J-10 are wasting BVR at DMAX

Per Alpha Defense twitter space, these things have been taking down the Turkish Asisguard Songar drones enmasse.

Despite all the fun gun-nuts (myself) included made of these things, they do help save valuable 40mm ammo for the L70s.
