What was the exact justice we achieved here exactly? Striking the terror outposts does nothing in the long run as they would be proped up again as long as pak army is there, we struck their bases we had superiority but it seems as our forces were made to target just the runways which would be repaired in maximum of 2 weeks and then we struck a non profitable ceasefire while having increased number of civilian casualities now then with what we started. So what exactly was the objective that we achieved after loosing so many civilians and wasting so much AD ammos. And moreover even though we struck their bases we havent claimed strongly how much losses we inflicted, how long do you think our achievent will last when the entire gloabal media starts peddling the paki propoganda to the international audiences? I think all we ended up with at last is some PR for people loosing lives and the forces not being "allowed" to inflict severe damages. Sorry if i sound too much black pilled but these are some objective questions that i raise.

I've never doubted that we wouldn't attack, I thought it would be a one and done thing like the last time. I was placentally surprised when we continued, slightly irritated with the "same 2 same" nonsense and then got excited with the paki air base burning and then, a slightly delayed but predictable end. I will give the credit where its due, modi's rubber spine held on longer than I expected.

I strongly disagree.

Pakistan was FORCED to ask for this agreement. Partly because of the alleged de-escalation clause in the IMF loan and partly by the bombardment of ALL its strategic air bases. The USA isn't gonna mediate or even care to get involved again. You think the likes of Doval don't know that? Why do you think China is calling Doval, of all people, at this hour? Even China is shitting their pants because their attack dog has gone rogue.

I'm not gonna ask you to trust our government because honestly, both sides of the argument need to exist. Discourse is what has brought our society to where we are, and discourse is what prevents us from becoming Pakistan.

But I will ask you to be more analytical before jumping to conclusions.

How do you know China called Doval? I am not doubting you. I just want to make sure, this information is correct. Why am I curious? I need to understand where India stands on the power struggle.

Imagine, this world is a jungle. In this jungle there are four lions India, Russia, China and USA. There is a very interesting dynamics that exist in this power struggle. Russia & China are firmly allied against USA. India & Russia are not firmly allied against anyone but they do support each other during critical hours. China & USA have a tacit understanding that there should be two camps. Russia should go in Chinese camp and India should go in the US camp. However, lately, I have seen India & China bridging their differences -- at least for the time being. Just like India, Russia too is not too keen on being forced into a particular camp.

Cooperation between China & USA against India is bound to intensify unless India is able to convince China that it is not interested in joining either of the two camps. The said conviction can only be imparted through demonstration of hard power. It is very important from India's perspective to keep an eye on what China & USA are up to. I think it will be better for India, if functional collaboration between India & China develops.
