Everyone who is again, being very disappointed in ceasefire, please LEARN THE GAME.
Nobody wants to see a nuclear power fail as a nation. This is fundamental reality of any other nation, simply due to the risks it poses for nuclear proliferation. This being in mind, this is a long war we need to stop acting like idiots and think that we could just walk in, blow up all of Pakistan and kill off Pakistan and world would sit by and do nothing.
Thats not going to happen, we do not have the power or economy to make that happen or the UNSC veto to say fuck u, i chimp out and everything else is a veto.
Ceasefires, intermittend conflict, pakistan trying to drone us and we paying them back in blowing up their bases again - while we apply economic levers + psycological pressures - be it by getting KSE suspended, messing with indus water,etc. is creating a multi-dimensional theatres of war.
To put it shortly, Pakistan brought 4th generation hybrid war against us with non-state actors. We are bringing in 5th generation game theory war against them, where we attack them economically, militarily and diplomatically to cause a collapse from within.
Ultimately, nobody in the world can save Pakistan if Pakistan starts to fragment internally and the Punjabi-Pashtun(the non-tribal areas ones who are with the military and by far majority of Paki pashtuns) choke-hold is broken - you cannot pour money into a country to prevent civil war-esque fracturing.
This is our play here.We are not done. Ceasefires are part and parcel of broad spectrum long term war.
And little perspective please: Be honest with yourselves. Just a week ago, when Modi-babu had done nothing, what was the mood ? Oh gawd, dont puss out, do another balakot, but this time take better pics. Remember ?
Even i said, i would be happy with a Balakot++, where we blew up FAR MORE terrorists and brought evidence.
If any of us had said 'we will not just get Balakot++, we will also blow up half of Pakistan's air force bases, including their biggest one-Sargodha and their most VVIP one - Noor Khan', we would all have said 'this is hondu modi, not israel, dont be silly we wont blow up main PAF bases and decapitate its functional capacity' and be labelled as absolute lunatics.
