Operation Sindoor

please share your thoughts

- Did Operation Sindoor(not just the first day strike but as a whole) met it's goal or did it fall short or did they overachieved ? If not, what do you think the minimum goal was (& what you would've like it to be) ?

- How did GOI did in information/media space ? Did they do a good job and if not WHAT CAN WE DO NOW (not in future but now)

- What did we learn from Operation Sindoor ? Tactically, strategically, technology and diplomatically

- what should be the immediate measures now

- Goal

What was our goal? Nobody knows. Will pakistan never send terrorists again in future? Did we took back our Kashmir? Did we denuclearize them?

Pakis attacked us,
we attcked back,
then they attcked us again,
we attcked them back again,
then Orange Man called for a ceasefire,
we followed it,
Pakis still attacked us,
We downplayed it.

Am I missing something in above chronology?

- Media management

Just look at international media and see which narrative is dominant. Even domestically people got heavily black pilled after yesterday's ceasefire.

IT cell propaganda isn't media management.

Our desi channels were doing cheap TRP grab. Running any and every rumour in the name of breaking news.

- What did we learn

When you fight a war fight it until you completely destroy your enemy like Israel or fight until you take territory like Russia.

Doesn't matter how long it takes. Doesn't matter how much criticism you face. Even when entire world is against you, Just do what is right for your national security. This is what serious countries do.

It's these serious countries who take ultimate risk change geography of the world. It's these countries who dictate the world order.

- What now

Wait until pakistan decides to attck again and repeat the same process.

Meanwhile get busy with Cast Census, Bihar Elections, Foreign Trips, etc. etc....

I am happy with the de-escalation in our terms. The terms are very dificult for Pakistan to swallow and Pakistan will soon misbehave again and give us chance to resume our punishment to them.

In the mean while, US will do the investigation of destruction of neuclear arsenal of Pakistan which I believe is destroyed. Earthquake in pakistan is proof of it. Once it is confirmed the Atom bombs are destroyed, Pakistan will become ordinary country and US itself will take care of pakistan.

China's shit AD system and Turkey openly helping pakistan, make them in trouble.

They would have struck? So indian air defence will suddenly stop working over jamnagar? Think before you write
are u special .? . If we managed to strike their airbases and even get close to nuclear storage sites, then why they couldn’t do the same to us? Do you honestly think the Jamnagar facility is better protected than a Pakistani military airbase that has active sam sites ? how did they even let you into a defence forum .?a well-coordinated strike — with missiles, drones, could absolutely cripple Jamnagar .

So somebody started shivering after a mere posturing from the US and the others?
Why did such pragmatism not set in on the day zero?
Who must be held accountable for such blunder?

This was a pointless conflict with no clearly defined "objectives"?

Can we safely conclude that the national resources got expended to safeguard the reputation of the "Supreme Pow Pow"? Was it a distraction to hide the complete failure in preventing the terrorist attack and catching the culprits?

I suspect that not one but two distractions were used, first the "Caste Census" and then the "Controlled Conflict". Two separate electoral groups were placated.
DId you have insider info as to what our strategic goals were for this operation? When the operation was launched dud you mistook it for a war to take back PoK? We struck their terror HQs, bombed almost all of their air bases, even took out their ADS battery and you want to term it as a failure? What is this shivering you are talking about? If we had shivered we would have kept quiet, just like the good boys we were after 26/11. We took the war to the heart of Punjab, not done since 1971. We are the first nation in history to bomb the shit out of military bases and brigade HQs of a nuclear armed nation. Pakistan has nothing to show for it except fabricated stories of shooting down our jets and doing damage to our forward bases. If they had done remotely what they claim they did, they would be ones to parade the visuals in front of the world instead of having to resort to AI gen or photoshops.

Why do you think this is the last encounter between the two? Our responses each time are going up the escalatory nature, from surgical strikes across Uri, airstrikes over Balakot now this. Next time the cost will be higher and we all know the next time will come sooner rather than later.

Americans are not a reliable ally, and many of their defense products are overpriced, much like their iPhones. The frequent changes in successive governments in Washington further undermine their reliability. Strategic autonomy is a better approach than tilting toward any major power. These so-called allies can’t even supply us with engines on time. Appeasing them has cost us dearly—they have never truly abandoned Pakistan.

By aligning with the Americans, we risk turning China into a full-fledged enemy. Chinese analysts on CGTN have even threatened that "it's game over for India" if we provide full-scale aid to Pakistan through our defense equipment while awe ligning with the West.

Wars are not done for your satisfaction rather to meet objectives , if we had struck Karachi port or oil facilities they would have struck Reliance’s Jamnagar Oil Refinery that's like 200ks from the border , Can you imagine the economic shock that would’ve caused us ? ,It’s easy to fake bravado online ,in real world there are consequences .
Jamnagar has se superb air defence
It's literally an interceptor base , iam talking bravado because our army enabled us to do so .
Jamnagar also had siren and black outs it's still closed for its single air india flight , lands mostly in afternoon ,
The base is in routine days , home to Jags , naval strike ones , mig 29s, mig 21 s and in special days ,one can see mirage 2000 also. ( I know because i have seen it for years ) And we literally intercepted a missile enroute to Delhi over sirsa .
We were in position to show bravado , heck , not only that last night msm folks.who invite generals etc
They were surprised and angry .
As for my faking bravdo , mate I am coward who volunteered for the Indian Army's regiment of shirkers and cowards.and , who has gleeful reaction while seeing folks at border die .
I will never do my duty , for iam a coward .

One thing to note here is, pakis aren't the sole party shoring their defenses up during this pause. Our preparations will be on a much larger scale. We've thoroughly tested pakistan's air defense capabilities, forcing them to use every interception platform available. And tested their responses in every major defensive sector. Next time will be far more brutal for them.

Key takeaways from op sindoor -

1. Pakistan will continue to exist.
2. US and China (for different reasons) will keep financing and arming it.
3. We are on a US economic, and increasingly a military (by way of purchases), leash. We are allowed to bark and give the occasional bite, but will be held back from going for the kill.
4. PoK is permanently gone. No amount of chest/table thumping in parliament by the so called “nationalist” party will change this reality.
5. LoC will permanently be used by the above powers to keep us drained and to be used as a ready customer for foreign armaments.
6. Our armed forces are top class and second to none. They are held back by political compulsions.
7. Our domestic MLC is promising and has a bright future.
8. We will continue to allocate increased budget allocation for military purchases for the above said occasional ‘bite’ only. Not for the ‘kill’.
9. Pakistan knows its military deficiencies and will become another major arms purchaser to plug those holes.
10. Pakistan will now be relieved they have the backing of, believe it or not, US AND China, for its continued existence as a cat’s paw to keep India’s rise in check.
11. All terror infra we bombed will be re-built with generous donations and vacant org positions will be filled, and everything will be back to as before.
Rona band kr:
1. Of course it will. Did you think a nuclear armed state will stop to exist through a war? Are you delusional?
2. US hasn't armed it for a decade. China has done no financing of it. If you call projects like CPEC financing, look closer into it. CPEC is the best gift China has given to India
3. Actually the reverse is happening. We are growing at least twice as fast as US. The leash is getting loosened with every year. 10 years back, an op like operation Sindoor would be unthinkable.
4. Again, did you think you will take thousands of sq kilometres of territory from a nuclear armed nation? Are you seriously delusional?
5. We don't even use our 0.01% of GDP on LOC and Siachin. It can never drain us.
6. Obviously
7. Obviously
8. We literally killed over a 100 terrorists and 50+ paki soldiers, along with jets and AWACS. What else do you need?
9. Pakistan's share of foreign arms is already higher than India
10. How does this keep India's rise in check? What check was put on India's rise in last 6 years due to Balakot? Since Balakot we exported Brahmos and weapons to Armenia, inducted countless indigenous weapons and almost doubled the size of our economy
11. Get it through your thick skull. Pakistan used terror as an instrument of policy because of high ROI, i.e. high benefit and low cost. Operation Sindoor just increased the cost manifold, directly lowering ROI. Pakistan will now think a thousand times before using them again. And even if the ROI hasn't been sufficiently lowered and Pakistan does another attack, the next op will blow any benefit to smithereens.

As many people claim, at the time of partition Pakistan got the Army and India got the Bureaucracy.

I'll never deny that India got the bureaucracy, but India in 1947 or even 2010 is NOT India in 2025. Bureaucrats still enjoy more than their share of power and privileges, I'll accede. But it nowhere extends to the kind of influence the likes of you are hinting at.

Why am I not seeing articles like these on International media?
- After losing 10+ airforces bases, pakistan runs for ceasefire
- Pakistan declares themselves victors after losing their critical airbases

Instead I see articles like these
View attachment 35045

Opening them you see no claims just an advertisement package for Chinese equipments.
The war of narrative is where pakistanis did lots of investments in recent past, even when their airbases , mosques, air defence were destroyed we are seeing shit like this
Because we didn't give any material to media, we didn't counter their stupid claims. We're the silent bob thinking we're being smart.
There are more
