Operation Sindoor

Man this is even more depressing if true.

Specially if we had the chance to de-nuclearize them, it would be the best gift to the nation ever.

Second big strategic blunder. The first one letting them have nukes in the first place. I just worry we might not get a third chance with all the learnings Porkis have got now.
U.S. military is fully capable of destroying Pakistan’s nuclear arsenal. India has also demonstrated that it can not only intercept nuclear missiles but also target and destroy Pakistan’s nuclear weapons.

De-nuclearization only happen when we have boots on the ground. You cannot lob bombs and destroy porkistan. You need to capture the facilities and defeat the Military convincingly.

Porkies tactical nukes needs to be checked on how effective they have. If possible members can give some studies on them.
On paper they claim it is indigenous, but it looks like Chinese crumbs thrown to Porkies and North Koreans. Both Pakistan and North Koreans started with same baseline but looks like NK able to go with H-Bomb while pakistan is happy with Fission bombs.

No, he didn't, this is what he wanted, Piglets just stop their Swift Retards without any escalation so he can go back to good economies, manufacturing investment, campaigning for elections etc.

Pretty sure that orangutan would have made threats as well, including passing intel to Pakistan if India did not buckle. He could also with-hold potential intel on China if they are up-to something while we are banging Kothastan.

Orangutan wanted a win for his PR.

Pakistani nuclear bases were being destroyed by the Indian Air Force. If the conflict had lasted one more week, Pakistan would have been left without the ability to use nuclear blackmail.

those are all "building palaces in the clouds" sort of ideas, i belong to realist school of thought, i don't prescribe to those sort of ideas.

his babus are proving something else though
What? They are doing as their briefs are.

I am not fond of babus. But I know very well how they operate. They learn early on never to step away from the brief. Unfortunately therefore sometimes situation rises where they themselves are in dark regarding the background if the briefs because if need to know.

The Op Sindoor was being done at DGMO level under direct supervision of NSA, CDS and PMO. I would bet that only handful if MEA even knew what was going on till the briefing came to them. If the spokesperson themselves don't know what can the scale of response, how can they confidently speak about them?

Their brief was response given, deescalation desired but retaliation would happen. And you want them to extrapolate and respond strongly on the basis of such briefing?

had been feeding the transcripts of MEA and MOD press briefings to grok, and asked for summary on essence of messaging by GoI to pakiland and rest of the world.
==========

Essence of India’s Messaging to Pakistan

Through its press briefings from May 7 to May 10, 2025, the Indian government delivers a stern and resolute message to Pakistan, emphasizing accountability and deterrence. India attributes the escalation to Pakistan’s support for terrorism, specifically citing the April 22, 2025, Pahalgam attack by The Resistance Front (TRF), a Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) front, as the original provocation (Briefing #3). It accuses Pakistan of unprovoked attacks, including drone incursions, missile strikes, and shelling along the Line of Control (LoC), targeting civilian infrastructure and causing deaths, such as the killing of Shri Rajkumar Tapa in Rajouri (Briefing #4). India’s military responses, such as precision strikes on Pakistani bases like Rafiqi, Chaklala, and Sialkot, are framed as proportionate and defensive, aimed at degrading Pakistan’s offensive capabilities, with significant losses reported at air bases like Skardu and Sargodha (Briefing #6). While India adheres to the May 10 ceasefire, it condemns Pakistan’s immediate violations, demanding responsible action to uphold the agreement (Briefing #7). The overarching message is clear: Pakistan must cease its support for terrorism and aggression, or face decisive retaliation, as India remains vigilant and operationally ready to defend its sovereignty (Briefing #6).

Essence of India’s Messaging to the Rest of the World

India’s messaging to the global community, as articulated in the May 7–10, 2025, briefings, centers on positioning itself as a responsible and restrained actor combating terrorism while seeking international support. India frames Operation Sindoor as a targeted response to the Pahalgam attack, focusing on terrorist camps and military infrastructure, not civilian or religious sites, despite Pakistan’s false claims (Briefing #6). It highlights its secular values, refuting allegations of targeting mosques, and exposes Pakistan’s disinformation, such as fabricated claims of S-400 destruction, with photographic evidence (Briefings #4, #6). Diplomatic engagements with the US, UK, and others underscore India’s commitment to counter-terrorism, earning support from global powers (Briefing #3). India emphasizes its restraint, ensuring civilian air safety during operations and adhering to the May 10 ceasefire, while condemning Pakistan’s violations (Briefings #3, #7). The message to the world is that India is a democratic, responsible nation defending itself against Pakistan’s state-sponsored terrorism, seeking international cooperation to address this threat and maintain regional stability (Briefing #5).

This could have been a golden chance to destroy nuclear capabilities of jehadis by first attacking infrastructure and than sending NSG/paratroopers/scientist like we did in 1971 Tangail Airdrop.

we may regret this lost chance for next several decades!

I'm not sure who you are referring to, but if you are giving a press briefing to the media, I'd say fluency should be atleast near the top of the list of requisite skills.

Honestly, I agree. Fluency certainly is a measure of competence because if you aren't fluent, then you can't express your thoughts with enough clarity.
But in the case of a press briefing where they did not even take any questions, the question of fluency is moot. You could have a 10th standard student from an English medium school probably read the briefing out with more panache and whatnot. Doesn't mean that it would make an iota of difference in this context. The message was audible, discernible, and although lacking in info for our liking, to the point. Not like it was even conceived by him. And the significance lies in the OFFICE the speaker holds. Let me also point out that the Hindi versions of his press briefings were very well articulated.

Also, I wasn't referring to you. Perhaps I shouldn't be grouping you with whoever said that. My bad.

Tactical nuclear weapons are intended for use within Pakistani territory if it is captured by India—not on Indian soil. By the way, no country other than Russia can deter the U.S. military with nuclear weapons, because the first thing the U.S. does during an invasion is to eliminate the enemy’s nuclear arsenal. The Indian military has also demonstrated its capability to destroy such weapons inside Pakistan.

You see I lurked on SDF for a lot of time. For them even in 2015 after unveiling of J-20, it's sem2sem and in their delusions, it could beat F-22 even. The thing with hans is that they are as delusional as pakis but they coat it with sophisticated English and pseudo-convincing mathematics.
Sophisticated English by Hans? Then they maybe specifically trained CCP bots. I have worked with client who had a vendor based out of Beijing. It was always a pain in the ass to decipher their e mails which had horrible use of grammar and punctuations. Communication over voice calls were even worse. Barring that flaw, they were some hardworking bunch of fellas who always got the job done.

As for Pakistanis, I have only encountered 2 in my professional career and their english were similar to us Indians. It's just that they represent very small minority in their community as majority of them only attend madrassas. Not that the English speaking ones are any better in terms of Islamic delusions and superiority complex.

I’m definitely not claiming that the Indian military is as capable as the U.S. military when it comes to destroying Pakistan’s nuclear weapons with 100% certainty. However, the bombing of the Kirana Hills nuclear base has proven that India does possess this capability against Pakistan. I agree that this capability should be further advanced and fail-proof.
