In 1967, we literally made Sikkim think it sould join India.

I think we should only share degraded export variants that are 1-2 generations old with minimum range. The scarcity and exclusivity is a foreign policy pressure point which we can leverage against all countries when the time comes for them to support us.

As far as I recall, Nuclear bombs require a very precisely timed sequence of events to trigger a chain reaction and cause detonation. An interception would only create a rain of radioactive dust. A dirty bomb at worst.

The only issue I see is our dependence on American Engine. If in future if the aircraft design allows us to fit to our own indigenous option, it will be awesome. I hope we can churn out some 350 of Tejas MK2. If our engine is ready before 2030, all the more better.
