Knowledgable folks please comment, why didn't we go for ground launched brahmos like the mia channu incident ? Was it that air launched has more range, more accurate ? Genuine question
Air launched brahmos has huge advantage of strategic targeting & flexibility over ground launched one

Also it's an one step ahead of escalation when some cruise missiles is ground launched it can be also perceived as nuclear one.

I don't think it's over, but I don't think it will restart within a week or even two weeks.
Many things will change over the weekend, the circumstances then will be different.

Pakistan will keep doing stupid things, but Modi is unlikely to react.
I am optimistic that Kashmir will be in peace for the next one to two years, with no attacks on civilians. While minor engagements with the military may occur, India is well-equipped to handle these challenges effectively. The nation’s primary focus should now shift to strengthening its economy while strategically constructing dams on the 3 major rivers to exert pressure on Pakistan without resorting to military conflict. This approach conserves resources, saving firepower for potential challenges from China. Operation Sindoor demonstrated that India can decisively counter Pakistan using less than five percent of its military strength, forcing Pakistan to seek external assistance. By prioritizing economic growth, India is on track to become the world’s 3rd largest economy, with companies relocating from China to India. This economic ascent should be India’s central goal to establish itself as a formidable global power.

I rather think his wardi-bro jernails will ask him to take voluntary retirement and enjoy life running a Papa John's empire in London.
It's interesting you raise this point. All thru their history whenever some general of Fauji Foundation has launched a coup against the civilian government he's been succeeded by another general in an internal coup.

Exceptions are Z.A. Bhutto succeeding Yahya Khan & BB succeeding Zia. Both were under exceptional circumstances. Post Musharraf it has been a system of hybrid regimes mostly due to western disapproval & quite obviously sanctions.
So why am I bringing in their history here ? I'm of the belief , Munir Maamu's goose is cooked. By choosing to attack India he's mounted a tiger. Such bravados can only end in a coup. He can't overthrow the civilian government for they're hand in glove with him.
However ambitious subordinates from Fauji Foundation may not be with him even if outwardly they pretend to be so. After all irrespective their public display of support , deep down their worst fears have come true with the Kirana Hill strike , the others across their bases in Paxtan notwithstanding for the importance of Fauji Foundation lies in their possession & control of nukes.

You take that away & they're both toothless & naked. IMO , this opinion would also be shared by the Paxtani elite not restricted to their political class.
So what's the prognosis ? I believe it's this churn internally within Fauji Foundation & among the elites which will play out in the coming months. This Paxtani elite or sections of them could well be behind such coup attempts egging the principal actors in Fauji Foundation behind the scenes. The more Paxtan sinks economically , the more their internal security deteriorates the more pressure mounts on Munir Maamu to step down.

If I'm not mistaken he'd once again try to extricate himself from this difficult position by staging another outrage in India. The last time he did so in Pulwama was to rally the nation behind him . This time he does so would be for pure survival & I don't mean clinging on to his chair here. I believe there's a very real danger to his life.

Just to jog the memory of you guys , Ayub made Yahya the CoAS & when his popularity started declining after 10 + years in power , he was asked by Yahya to step down . Left with no support as Yahya was the CoAS & had the command & support of the PA , Ayub resigned & Yahya took over.

Zia who realised the blunder Ayub committed didn't relinquish his post as CoAS as long as he continued as the dictator of Paxtan . However his 10 year + reign was seen by Fauji Foundation as him overstaying his visit. He was asked to quit by Mirza Aslam Beg his second in command in PA along with other senior officers. He declined & had an "accident. " Beg succeeded him as CoAS & he ordered elections which saw BB coming to power.

Same situation a few decades later saw Musharaf quit under similar circumstances with the next in command taking over as CoAS . This time it was General Kayani.

Hence either Munir Maamu quits & goes away quietly into the sunset or he launches another war against India . Since he doesn't exactly come across as the brightest bulb in the showroom , as recent events have proven , the chances of him quitting is near zero. You can see where this is going now.

He is baiting them again.
To me we have always been baiting them from night of 6-7.

2016 they simply said no one came inside, India is lying.
2019 was more complicated as fighters went deep and flown over their people but since damage to the buildings wasn't visible they said no one died.

This time on 6-7 night we not only struck deep inside but given undeniable damage to terror infrastructure (Also it is not possible to clear the site overnight if whole building is collapsed). Most importantly we did this to Mosques, In a islamic country. Porkis try to back down by saying we shoot down 5 planes and what not but soon they realized that won't be enough and they will have to take action.

So on night of 7-8 they tried to attack Amritsar, we did some damage in night but actual bait came after 8 morning. We flown drones all over their major cities and that too in broad day light. Hitting Rawalpindi stadium and some random plot near shahbaz's house was just to show the public aukat of PA. (All this while we were hitting some important targets to take down AD. Radar and AD missiles)

On 8-9 night they used swarm drones and we responded with ours, remember our drones were dropping flairs every where. Attack continued.

It was mostly calm on 9th in day and we blamed them using civilian airliner as cover and attack on us.
All this was to lure them in firing Fatah-2 missile which got intercepted and then all hell break loose. We pounded them so hard with Brahmos, scalp and hammer bombs. Attacked 11 air bases and even nuke sites.

I think what we didn't count was a radiation leak and immediately after that we had to stop. If 100s of civilian dies due to radiation leak (kids, woman, old and lora lasun) it will be very dirty for India's image. Also we might not have calculated the level of impact of radiation but pause to attack was needed immediately to do the assessment.

Now slow taunting has started and we will keep them engaged on LOC on our side to increase damage from BLA and as the pressure increase they will make some stupid move so that we can finish what we started.

Meanwhile since US saved their asses they will take control of lot of things internally possibly even nukes essentially finishing Chinese investment in the country.

Is it possible for someone to create a comprehensive video compiling all publicly available footage of India’s military operations in Pakistan, including drone strikes, missile attacks, and other engagements? Such a video would showcase the full range of India’s military actions as documented on the internet.

Even if we Capture asim munir and parade him down the rajpath in his banyan ul fatta hua kacha, pakistan will still kang upon made up losses on indian side. Such is the power of Lahori Churan
