3. If there is a leak it will from the nukes that have been damaged it won’t increase over time

they will seal of the entrances and ducts with boron infused concrete to remove possible sources of radioactive material getting leaked into the environment

the main risk will be ground water contamination. That will decide the radius primarily of effects if any.

Most importantly for us “if” the nuke weapons stored there have ruptured inside all the nukes inside the facility are now gone. No one will excavate the mountain to recover them that will create a radiation hazard.

They are the textbook example of boasting more than actual. Whatever they claim, cut it half atleast to get the actual numbers.

As for their nukes, I have seen nothing to beleive they have delivery mechanism for nukes. The worst they can probably do it dirty bomb smuggled into India, not unlike a terrorist groups.

I believe that the Babur is meant to be used with nuclear warheads also. Dual use.
Any firing of the Babur towards India will activate the highest warning signal.
We will assume that it has a nuclear warhead and respond accordingly.
Might trigger a nuclear war.

Or may be they wanted to see if our Air Defence System especially the S400 will intercept the Fatah 1/2 ballistic missile. Once we intercepted it they lost confidence in the use of cruise missile Babur, a slow subsonic cruise missile.
More easier to intercept.

These are only theories.

Indian nuclear doctrine does not apply to birds or missiles in the sky . It explicitly is a second strike option so India will absorb the strike before retaliating with extreme force .

I think the only answer is that Pakistan was afraid that India would open up massively and they would not have been able to keeep up .

We have their Mirage wreckage+pilot and they have at least portion of our Rafale wreckage. There is an understanding at DGMO level to keep each others shit hushed up to avoid fallout.

yeah not buying that. they already officially declared shooting down a Rafale, nothing stops them from showing proof of the same. and our side would not have compunctions in showing our losses - remember the blue-on-blue during 2019, we owned it up.

idhar kuch aur hi daal gal rahi hai.
