Akash is too expensive to be used against cheap Chinese and Turkish drones. Simple AA guns integrated with radar and control computer were used. It is very cheap and effective anti-drone weapon.

Phillipinos purchased land based 290 kms only to defend their islands. They may be happy about missile but it’s strictly to deter Chinese than to attack. I hope we sell more defence weapons to them.

We should have 200 billion $ budget for the type of adversaries we might have to face in the future. But because of vote bank politics I don't think that's possible rn. Hopefully in the future. For now all I want the government is to decrease the unnecessary hiccups in the development & procurement process.

I think one avenue could be making a system where unspent money earmarked for other projects can be reassigned to Defence.

Then deliberately give more money than needed to certain projects that are not scrutinised that much. Like let's say conservation of some animal or piece of forest where we know there will be overflow of funds.

Chinese have no appetite to fight. They will give up early than pak in Himalayas. The galwan stand off made them back off after we matched them in numbers and Kailash hill manoeuver was enough them to fall in line

The idea sounds good on paper, but strategically, I oppose this.
Dirty HAN, no matter how dirty, is any day better than Unca Shyam, who will leave you high and dry at your dire hour. They know nothing about partnerships or friendships. All they know are business deals and extreme selfishness.
In my ideal world, RIC is a thing. Living at peace with each other. I would hope RIC can realistically be a thing, once CCCP dissolves. Chinese people themselves are OK by me (and Indians in general). We never had any problem with China till Mao.

I used to harbour suspicions that this guy is a plant by our counter intelligence establishment . I think there's no scope for any doubts on this count whatsoever.

Why exactly was someone chosen to feed Punjabi Musalman's ego ? Coz every single Punjabi Musalman makes for either a good peasant , an ordinary soldier , a petty tradesman or a lay preacher.

Howsoever high a Punjabi Musalman rises in status he'd bring exactly the same mentality to his position as those of the aforementioned categories I've listed above . Add inbreeding to it & the results are compounded.

This is also precisely the reason their lords & overlords in the past millenium have always come from the east ( based in Delhi like the Slave Dynasty onwards ) or from the west essentially people like Mahmud Ghaznavi onwards to Ahmed Shah Abdali.

The only opportunity they got to govern themselves & prove all those stereotypes about them wrong was in the past 75 years & they've strained every sinew & muscle to live up to those stereotypes & the axiom I've mentioned above.

This is also the reason Paxtan is in the shape it is in & will continue to be so as long as the Punjabi Musalman exists.

Hence people like Pravin Sawhney exist to feed these egos & tell them they're not only on the right path but India's on the wrong path.

What are they gonna do? Invade through the himalayas? lob hypersonics + drones against us? That would open them up for royal screwing if they want to invade taiwan.

With the capabilities we have right now - which I thought we would only achieve in 2035ish, and our navy being able to blockade their ships and the sheer ammo production capacity we have now, they would make things much harder for themselves.

I think they are going to review their stance and arrogance against us, either arm the pakis way more and use them to annoy us OR make proper overtures to ensure we don't supply taiwan and nato wholeheartedly in case of war.

this only makes sense IF they have the balls to invade Taiwan in the first place, which I dont think they have the stomach for that anymore. They're just going to try to make our economy and growth weaker through other means.
