How I'm reading this is that gate will be closed. But they'll dance in front of the closed gates as usual. They'll ban public from seeing it and making a fuss.

They're picking up every complaints and objections people have on SM that doesn't veer on military action. They're scrambling to show to have done something.

Like I was saying from yesterday, all half measures.

BSF jawan arrested by Pak rangers

The jawan was monitoring the farmers harvesting crops in the no man's land on the other side of the barbed wire. The BSF jawan had mistakenly crossed the border.

Farmers are allowed to do farming in this area before the zero line with a special permit. BSF soldiers are deployed with them during sowing and harvesting of crops. They are also called Kisan Guards. The barbed wire is much before the zero line. Only pillars are installed on the zero line. Pakistan has not installed barbed wire on its side. Due to this, the soldier crossed the zero line by mistake and went to the Pakistani border to sit under the shade of a tree due to the heat.
