Pahalgam Islamic Terror Attack

It is part of the "A"JK portion of PoK, pretty close to LoC, supposedly a temple was inaugrated on our side and it is said the original is 40km for it.

It is possible since this isn't the GB portion of PoK so there is no mountain bullshit involved

Dude what are you talking about? Sharadha peet is right next to valley (Neelam valley). You can check on map the mountain terrain.

All the Bongs I've interacted with in real life are the same. Either hardcore commies or hardcore gopal patha types. There's no in between.:creepy:
People in my area are ready to cut heads. Our family physician is willing to throw down if the Army sends him west. He's over 50 years old. The most vocal liberal commie shitters you see are Jadavpur University graduates who either spent too long there or mentally never left the campus.

Thankfully, members are now contributing more sensibly now. Just like I said previously in my comments they will be diverting some resources from their airforce to protect Karachi Port. I thought they will assign few J-17s or even J-10s. But from the news sources you guys have posted it looks like they are diverting little bit of F-16s, J-17s, and J-10s.

BTW, they have only 20 J-10s. 16 are yet to be delivered. Things would have been different if we signed GE deal for F404 Jet Engines in 2015. 100 Tejas aircrafts would have been a massive boost to IAF. Now we can only hope both Tejas MK1A and MK2 will be a reality by 2030. I hope by that time we have 250+ Tejas Jets. Get the production line in order and churn out 30-40 Jets per year or fire HAL idiots. Instead of delaying we need to ASAP sign the deal with Rolls Royce or Safran for Jet Engine technology. Simply haggling for years will bear no fruit.

We should deploy Boeing P-8 Poseidon to track their subs in and around our shores. We have 12 operational which is more than the subs they have in operations. This war should destroy their Navy assets and it should happen in quick succession.
Somewhat of a sensible take but I think far far too many are falling for the same nonsense chest thumping and masala drama as usual

There’s no point talking about F16s/J10s/corvettes- these things will never be touched in response to such an attack in India

The responses to URI and Pulwama were specifically categorised as COUNTER TERROR operations targeting specific groups (that the Pakistanis themselves could deny)

Unilaterally striking conventional military assets of Pakistan is absolutely off the table as a response, should Pakistan escalate as they did in 2019 then it’s a different story but they definitely are not being eyed up right now.

As I said it will be a low level tactical operation

+ they still haven’t even hunted down those responsible for this attack- that is deeply disturbing, it really refutes the idea of India’s security grid and intel capabilities built up supposedly over decades

That chinese made SH-15/PCL-181 truck mounted howitzer(videos above) is the only equipment in Paki army that we should be concerned about... & they have it in numbers... approx 300. We have 0 in this category.

Shoot & scoot capability becomes more important in short wars which is about to unfold.

We allowed the deficiencies and capability gaps to increase... and hence a rabid jihadi state 1/12th in economy kills and maims our populace and is challenging us for war.

If this is just a low level tactical op then GOI is just inviting another 26/11

If we go for a real war, Pakistan will surely use Nuclear weapons. Which is ok, since our doctrine requires a decapitation strike as a response.
But let it be so. I just hope world itself does not get involved and turn it into world war. It will be their loss, not ours.

I hope we use this as an opportunity to scrap "no 1st use".
And if they make noises that we don't like, denuclearise the bastards.
Preemptively do a counter-force attack on their missile silos, production facilities and command & control nodes.

Make missile defence easier for our BMD network.

Of course pakjabis will probably have ballistic missile TELs and the 2 or something remaining subs that aren't perpetually being repaired.

Our satellite coverage might be enough for early detection.
One of the reasons why I keep pining for ISRO to increase the rate of satellite-launches and a desi SBIRS like network for early detection of paki and chini missile launches.
