Pahalgam Islamic Terror Attack

That chinese made SH-15/PCL-181 truck mounted howitzer(videos above) is the only equipment in Paki army that we should be concerned about... & they have it in numbers... approx 300. We have 0 in this category.

Shoot & scoot capability becomes more important in short wars which is about to unfold.

We allowed the deficiencies and capability gaps to increase... and hence a rabid jihadi state 1/12th in economy kills and maims our populace and is challenging us for war.
Numbers are ~110-160 for the SH-15/PCL-181.

If some have not gone out of the country yet . Can Armenia bros let us keep some. :playball:
Army doesn't know what to do with them. They have no precedence for these mobile wheeled light howitzers in service. They are still brainstorming SOPs regarding these new trucks.

The all is fine crowd have a lot to answer for

In the next few months ‘emergency’ procurements will flow (almost all imports), India should’ve been acting as though it was in an emergency for the last 10+ years given the shortfalls it faces

Honestly, speaking in a purely logical tone (sorry for being contrarian for the sake of it), it'd be best if India just keeps forcing them to keep their readiness high on our borders, take Taliban into confidence and let them mobilize their military (or whatever the fuck that is) and just fatigue Pakistan for the next three months or so before actually starting major large scale ingresses.
You can only hot pit, hot seat your lil Blunders so many times before they need serious maintenance.
Same for their tanks, railways, logistic vehicles etc. Make no mistake, India can wreak HAVOC anyways but it will result in way more casualties than if Pakis have to keep responding to small scale trespasses on both borders with war footing and the assumption that it could turn into a large scale attack.

Would require incredible coordination between Taliban and us (oof) but can be done.
Maybe even get some horse before the cart treaty with Taliban where they don't touch PoK and we don't touch Attock (till we both do, eventually).

As it stands, Taliban is a temporary entity. Sooner or later, another Northern alliance will destabilize Afghanistan and it's true leader will be a matter of who you like more so why not?
Taliban keeps trying to act out it's best "Respected government of the state" mimicry. They definitely seem more than keen to enter alliances with actual legitimate states (and also seem to hate Pakis almost as much as us).

This is where India has always lacked the will to conduct punitive psyops

Fully armed flying jet performing a low pass sortie few handred metres above ground level that too over civilians area is insane , just tells they wud go to any extent to build favourable psyops

And why wouldn't we?
Low passes by fighter jets are reserved for air shows, actual evasion and combat missions due to its high risk to reward ration. A single wire hanging off of a pole or a polythene trashbag flying into the intake in somewhat windy conditions could mean a total write off for the airframe.
I can't see any reason for it other than what the members here already said regarding it, i.e a morale booster/psy ops.

I would much rather our forces don't engage in it (they don't seem to do that anyways).

Who knows, maybe our guys are locking their jets from across the border just to fuck with them. That'd be some uncharacteristic brinkmanship.

All the mobilization Porkis are making is going to cost them a lot. I say we take our own sweet time to decide when we have to bomb the shit out of them. Few people here might disagree with me, but I say even if the attack happens after 100 days I am okay with it. We need to rise the cost of conflict for them. For 100 days they cannot be on high alert and have their air force and navy on combat patrol. That will bleed them like anything. Even the Chinese couldn't hold on in Himalayas even if that was due to just weather. Still a country barely hanging onto a thread cannot keep up high alert levels for 100 days.

If the attack happens let's say at the end of August, we will also have a advantage with respect to our Eastern border. Winter will start to set in and Chinese would not dare to do anything stupid either given the harsh weather conditions. 1971 war was fought in December which is peak winter in Himalayas. Until then I am okay with our forces fine tuning their strategy and getting their shit in order. It will give our side enough to watch their moments and strike when they least expect it.

This is just my opinion. I would love to see anyone can see the flaw in my argument and rebut it.

Narrative will be lost and people will be too busy in their lives india is not israel our govt only does something when push comes to shove.

Also it would help if the more experienced members write up a post about the guidelines on how to scour the social media for posts about Pak military mobilization. Aka keywords in Urdu or other languages or platforms so that the entire forum can help in keeping track.

No other solid reason? Let's say we can completely wipe their military assets out after 100 days when we attack. Would we take that option or do we take the option of launching the attack earlier just because narrative will be lost and people would have moved on? The end goal is to wipe out or weaken our enemy massively. The goal here is not political theater.

Because some among us insist on moon trials and gold-plated imports, also, "how dare conscientious and intrepid entrepreneurs butt in? Bloody civilians".

Unfortunately, abhi toh jang hi inhe seedha karegi.

That is, we have waaaaay better systems than the chicoms can provide the pakjabis, and they are kept on the sidelines, while "experts" dilly dallied.
