Pahalgam Islamic Terror Attack

I agree that if a full-scale war were being planned, the government and media would remain silent. We wouldn’t hear anything about retaliation, while troop mobilisation from across India would take place. Only foreign media would report on the preparations and the declaration of war.

I don't get what the govt and armed forces are planning, if we decided to go all out war against terrorism and the planners what is the need for DGMO level talks. This is so frustrating to hear this news
 
Time to close this thread guys it's over. Pakistan has already mobilized its forces we haven't, standoff with Pakistan with a looming threat of China will be the last thing mudi will want and doing a surgical or airstrike will invite retaliation from paks armed forces which will be impossible to counter unless we mobilize our own forces . Pakistan more or less proved that they can kill Indian people with impunity. I think we should brace up for larger terror attacks like 26/11 and serial bomb blasts which may happen in an year or two.

Idea is to Provoke mullah so much that morons end up taking first strike. Its a game of who blinks first . historically, porkis have always took first strike .

Morons are provoked a lot and are trying to match us..Mudi ji is literally bleeding morons of remainig money inch by inch..

Financially, they cannot sustain hostilities for too long and will have to return to barracks..

When there’s a media blackout on troop mobilisation, it’s serious. But when the media is actively reporting on mobilisation, it’s just a psyop or a bluff. Pakistani mobilisation appears to be a bluff. As for Indian mobilisation, I can’t say—there’s no media coverage.

Really? Pravin Sawhney? Is he the person you want to utter in this forum?

Comparing this situation to Operation Parakram is a false equivalance. You are talking about a time which was 25 years ago where India's infrastructure was hardly in existence. It is not the case now. Roads lead to even remotest corner of India. Army has upgraded lot of it's vehicles. Our railway tracks network has improved. Not to mention dedicated freight corridor especially WDFC runs almost along the border. Our mobilization will not only be faster but can also be quieter. Just make sure next time not to talk about that asshole in this forum.

May be we had too much pressure from other countries to calm down. Govt buckled under it. Now it’s more of face saving and narrative time.
Media me kuch jaida hi bol diya. Ab ulta kaise kare. They decided to put blame on army now only army will look weak . If it’s true.
We must realise the reality and arm our self with native toys. Build at home. We should realise where we stand and where Pakistan stand with china support.

I genuinely don’t know why so many are convinced large scale action is going to happen- it has never occurred for before after these incidents and India’s relative conventional capabilities have not really grown in the last 6 years

Anyway that’s the bigger picture, the inability of India to have even touched the guys that carried out this specific attack is far more appalling and demonstrates the weaknesses of Indian kinetic options

It's impossible to hide full scale mobilization from public's eye in today's age when everyone on street have a smartphone with camera. To be true I don't think we are mobilizing and that's scary since Pakistan surely is. Most likely Current back door talks happening is around defusing the situation we would most likely play doseir doseir again this time it seems

What does this even mean? Secret preparation? Isn’t that what peacetime is for

Secret mobilisation? You can’t do that at scale

Weeks? Wtf is the cold start doctrine then?

As long as the public is unaware of any troop mobilisation, it’s serious—it means preparations for war are underway. But if the leadership is openly announcing troop movements and talking about war, then no war is likely to happen; it’s just for PR.
