We will lose soldiers. Kargil casualty was around 2000 (?) , I don't know what this war will do but whatever it is - The reparation to their widows, lifelong pension , other benefits, etc will be a hefty chunk.

In a full scale war - We will get hit. It is inevitable. We may lose a refinery, a port, maybe satellites if chinks get involved, I don't know what. But there will be damage for sure.

Some investors will run away. Impossible to model loss in any meaningful way. Investments have a multiplier effect. 10-100x depending on what study you refer to. We will lose some.

Markets will tank. Many people will be financially troubled as a direct effect.

I am not undermining India or Indian defences in this post. All I am being is a realist and trying to say war is costly. But cost should not be a factor when it is a question of survival. I have been the Pahalgam, my parents have been there, my wife has been there and one day my children will go there as well.

Those 25 were on the wrong place at the wrong time and I don't want my family or me to be at the wrong place at the wrong time within our country.

Civilisation began as people herded together for safety. The strongest was chosen to lead and protect, that slowly evolved into the strong being Kings and now Head of states - (then physically strong and now politically). Safety & security is the #1 duty of any state and the state must deliver - at all costs.

You redeemed yourself in last paragraph. We are not a war monger state. It is imposed on us. So, ys we should be ready to absorb some losses. The payout will be multifold. The broken structures will be rebuilt new. Investors will come back once the threat of pakistan is permanently neutralized. Our neighbors will think twice before challenging us. Country will come together much more cohesively.
Yes there will be some pension burden. But than we also pay ladli behnas a lot already. So, I don't think it matters much.

Yes we will loose some but we gain more.

It will not be permanently neutralized, time hai usko

But if good punishment is delivered to them, they will be forced to behave for the next 10 years with the following setup, one terror attack here and we go for overwhelming conventional response

Yes all govt aligned influencers along with it cell influenced whatsapp fwds are singing the tune of caution/restraint/prudence and rationalising no-action because of fear of some unknown toolkit being activated when the govt itself appears hawkish. Lol. I wait to see what they say when balloon does eventually go up.

I was searching for it in thread. I was sure someone would have put it. I have been waiting it for days. Time to discipline the likes Coupta, Unhindu, bindutimes and their ilk. Shut down that randi gola, pela palangtod etc. I hope even dhruv rathee is shutdown. Will be amazing. I also hope even youtube, meta, twitter algorithms are scrutinized for peddling misinformation under these laws.

It is a law and its the moment to properly use it to purge our ills and ailments.

Next up i want a declaration of some wartime national law enforcement cohesion force under which the police is forced to take direct orders from HM. Will be handy to clean WB police and make some pork from bengali pigs.

Well, There is no point in mobilizing to current extent if we don't aim to give a fatal blow to pig farmers of punjab. If we don't immediately break them atleast leave them in a tattered position like Bashr al asad. He survived through most of the civil war but in last few months he was uprooted and sent packing.

This is effectively siege tactics, which are used to cut off enemy supplies. Probably applied since the dawn of war.

Just pressure tectics, the moment real war starts I bet they return . A Nato country declaring war on other without approval ll bring trouble . And the numbers india can place in arabian sea ll be embarrassing for them to even attempt anything here ... Pakistan ll face a sea blockage . In any case turkey cnt do much in naval front as of now though may be after 15 years when they ll have their aircraft career , more ships with those 8 bil dollars they are investing that ll be something .

I have grown to only have contempt for air force babus. Fuck these guys in particular.

Kept delaying acquisition of indigenous jets because they wanted gold plated, bejeweled foreign fighters for decades, while the number of jets in inventory fell. Lost decades of experience that domestic manufacturers would have got building jets for them. And now we are generations behind state of the art in this field.
