Children are children johny ji. Don't take it any more seriously. Most of their attitude is actually programmed attitude and learned. They are not in much control. Tell them a few of your exploits and they will know. Today's children consider smoking a joint the real thrill. They don't know the thrill of unknown. How it will eat us drive us mad till we figured out what it was. The thrill we had to invent new entertainment routines in absence of any mobile. They watch something on IG and think oh its cool let us do it

One of the funniest things in real life i see as an IT professional, is that 90% of the 'internet is banned, internet is strictly controlled, internet u have for 30 min only outside of homework and i am following every click of yours' is an attitude found in at least 50% of IT parents.

Maybe because we work with the devil is why we know how dangerous this devil is, but its always funny to me that IT people always come in polar extremes - they are all either child groomer trans people type or they are straight up taliban when it comes to the internet.


Also, if you want my advice, teach your kids discipline and follow the rule of thumb i do : watch what western parents/libbu parents do and then do the exact opposite.
because the fundamental requirement for success in life is impulse control - your ability to push short term reward out of the picture for long term gain. Pot smoking and being sex-filled teenagers is the exact opposite - you are teaching them to be slaves to their impulses and no human has ever been successful in life since caveman days by lacking impulse control.
