I'm sure pakistanis are on there way to complete nuclear triad. China is extensively helping.i suppose first they will add ship based then subs based B.M. It would be interesting to see if there new Chinese subs have vls or not.
This recent naval ballistic missile is very major development.

Dhanush missile with more than double the range was launched from Sukanya class opv years ago. It has reduced to become only a target for practice of Indian BMD now.

We should have a AShBM.

Was looking at paki navy surface fleet and it's offensive capabilities.

Currently it has 9 active frigates, including one pre-historic 2nd hand American frigate.

> 4x of them are Tughril class, each of which carries 4x CM-302 supersonic anti-ship cruise missile with 280km range. So total 16x AShM only (credible threat)

> 4x of them are Zulfiqar class, each of them with 8x C-802 subsonic anti-ship cruise missile with 120km range. So only 32x AShM all of which is honestly not even a threat.




> Then they have 4 babur class corvettes, each with 6x P282 anti-ship ballistic missiles with 350km range. Might be a threat for our coast guard.

> At last they have 4 yarmook class corvettes, each with 8x harbah (babur) subsonic anti-ship cruise missile with 280km range. So 32 in total, again not a credible threat.

They are buying 4x Jinnah class frigates, will see what it has. Could be turkish junk missiles.



So in total, only 16x CM-302 supersonic AShCM which could be a credible threat but comes with just 280km max range, other credible threat might be 350km range P282 AShBM. That's it.

You're including ships on order. Not all of them are active.

Only 1 Babur is active, to be followed by Jinnah class. Zulfiqar is also old.
And Yarmuk is essentially an off-shore patrol vessel with outdated cruise missiles.

We could've upgraded our OPVs with decent missiles but for some reason chose not to
