In Russia, tests of promising small-sized combat laser systems for countering UAVs have been conducted. The names of the laser systems are not reported. The event was organized by the Board of the Military-Industrial Complex and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia with the participation of leading defense industry enterprises: companies that are part of the Rostec State Corporation and organizations of the Rosatom State Corporation. The first footage of the North Korean light 107-mm MLRS Type 75 used by the Russian army. The towed MLRS Type 75 was adopted by the DPRK in 1974. It is a licensed analogue of the Chinese MLRS Type 63. The MLRS is equipped with high-explosive fragmentation shells about 840 mm long and weighing about 18 kg, with a warhead weight of about 1.5 kg. The maximum firing range of the MLRS is about 8.5 km, the minimum is 1.5 km. A full complement of 12 missiles is fired in 7-10 seconds. The average price for a Type 75 MLRS launcher is about 20 thousand US dollars.
