Do not believe the casualties reports about Russia coming from western sources. They are totally fake and unreliable and propaganda and those figures came from Ukrainians themselves who have proven to be complete liars.

The 3 generations can be looked at by casualties reports coming out from independent Ukrainian sources and western sources and the fact that 10 million people left Ukraine. That’s 25% loss right there. And you got reports of Ukrainian authorities pressing any able bodied male into service. You add all those ups and yoh arrive at a rough conclusion that 3 generations are lost.

Mediazona has counted 95,323 confirmed Russian DOD casualties, using BBC Russian service and team of volunteers.. You can access the full list of the Russian DOD dead as well.. All Russian deaths including contractors estimated at around 165000..

So, Russian irretrievable losses [with wounded who cant serve again would probably be about 500k ]
Ukraine too would have lost the same number as dead at around 2 lakh..

But, Ukraine has done a damn good job of killing a lot of Russian men..

Now, that BBC Russia and mediazona can go around Russia collecting info about war dead, but are not allowed to do anything in Ukraine which is under Martial law is a different story..

Poland also has a demographic which can sustain war. No wonder they have some semblance of standing Army. They have not forgotten the old ways of the Soviet, always build for the worst case scenario.

I am stunned by the ungrateful Europeans, they are not better than Zelensky. Still not in tune with changed realities.

Poland do have a healthy demographics but they do not have the financial wherewithal to fund the modernization and expansion of their military support. They were relying on US and EU financial support. I’m not sure under Trump that Poland’s defense modernization drive will pan out as they intended.

You see that the Russians are going to the end, although for two years now, after we destroyed the professional army, we know about barrage machine guns that shot at the retreating Russian soldiers. I see that they have technical problems in the Ground Army. And the appearance of pack animals allows us to at least partially compensate for the loss of motor vehicles. You have seen the "Roads of Death" on the Internet. A narrow path in a forest belt is enough for a donkey/camel to hide from Ukrainian drones.

The Ukrainian army is not defeated, the economy is working, if I write - it means there is electricity. Meanwhile, the Russians still have a pike and there will be a Cossack from WW1.

There are millions of Russians living in Ukraine. A pyrrhic victory is France talking Moscow. The distance between the two is almost 3000 km. Good luck suppling that army in the winter from that distance. Also Russia had a bigger population. This situation is the complete opposite. I did miss this part and I think you might of also did. "Meduza estimates that the range of open-source dead to real dead could be anywhere from 1:1 to 2:1." I think you missed it because they go from 1:1 /1.8 to now 1:1 to 2.0 They need to make up their mind 2.0 or 1.8?
