In 2006 , there was an occasion where both jets crashed into sea and Greek pilot died and Turkish counterpart wounded. That could be the one in 2006.
At least we are not losing fighters in mass in peace time but while making dog fight etc.

Are you facking unable to understand? During these crisis many aircraft crashed. One Greek one crashed into sea during dog fight before 2000, in 2006 both Turkish and Greek one crashed do to sea and Greek pilot died Turkish one get wounded. In 2018 Greek one crashed do to sea etc.
That 1996 crisis was a result of karsak islands issue. Creeks lost 4 personnel and one helicopter and they launched missile days later during dogfight in the Aegean.

However, the Greek economy is showing resilient recovery- consistent debt to gdp reduction AND a 2-2.5% growth year on year for post-covid years.
Greece is also a much smaller economy than turkey : sum total of Turkey's economy is predicted to be 1.4 trillion and greek to be close to 250 billion. Ergo, our tourism dollars to Greece would go a much bigger way to harming Turkey than just harming turkey by withdrawal of our tourism from them.

If this angle can be broken somehow/israel made to re-orient to Armenia somehow, then we will make serious headway into cutting off the head of Islamism because then the Gelf states who are the banks of islamic terrorism, lose opportunity to fund their projects, because both the factory/laboratory (Pakistan) and the ideological output+logistics of islamic terrorism are fatally wounded.
