Tracking Indian Judiciary: News, Updates & Discussions

The judgement.

The judge.

Apparently the judge was accused of having links with the BJP & a review petition was filed against her appointment in the SC , if you can believe such a thing.

IMO this is one of the best podcasts I've come across on the state of the judiciary , the criminal justice system & the various players involved , in quite some time tracing the trajectory of how the system evolved into what it is today, warts et al through the journey of a rookie trial lawyer made good navigating the years with some of the most high profile cases of our times.

Be warned , it's 3 hours long but extremely rewarding.

SC is getting out of control. GoI seriously needs to tell SC to fuck off and curtail their power by stopping all payments and benefits to SC judges. Without money or power to enforce, they are just glorified useless paper pushers.

Rest of the article requires registration, Thank Gods for that. Too much.

Buckle up for high decibel words/phrases/sentences peppered with Shakespearean level language /sophistry.

Have enclosed the paywall free article .

Both faggot here & his "allies" including Chandrachooth were planning his selection to the HC when the Collegium recommended his name the first time around such that he'd have been one of the senior most judges eligible for elevation to the SC eventually & the mafia there would've also ensured he ended up as the CJI .

Look at the planning these MFs indulge in . It's years in advance. That's how they maintain their monopoly over the institution.

He's let the cat out of the bag in the interview.

Apurva Vishwanath: A Collegium resolution from last year says that there are two reasons why the government had objections to your candidature. What are your thoughts? Would you still accept judgeship?

Of course I’d accept it. I was 45 when I was offered it. Had I become a judge at that point, I would have been one of the senior-most judges in the country…

I'd say the nation narrowly escaped suffering him else we'd have seen him pervert the course of justice through selective interpretation of the law initially in the HC & later on in the SC .
