collapsing American economy is a dangerous proposition, mostly because of how hugely america is militarized - both domestically AND actual military. And unlike Russian govt, which is a world champion level boss of retaining control and dominance over its own people come what may( except for outside invasion ofcourse- thats not in its control) and Murrica is a dehati level player at controlling its own populace ( muh freedumb), a broke-ass nuclear armed america with naval power sufficient to take on the entire world alone is a dangerous proposition.Their economy needs to go into the gutter, everything will follow from that, it is a fake-ass country bounded only by materialism, nothing else, "better living standards" and "i can make more money" is the Americunt Dream.
i am no expert on economic-military theory or its interrelationships but i am not convinced tht brokeass USA goes the way of brokeass USSR and just withers from within and hollows out. I am afraid they may go the 'bronze age sea people' route and make their brokeness the direct problem of the entire facking world, even if it means setting fire to the whole world coz their house is on fire.
But then again, collapsed USD also offers a HUGE reward to the remaining players in the currency game, of which India is a small but existant part of a very exclusive group.
The less high risk, high reward pathway is to keep fanning the binary political left-right divide in USA till the country itself descends into civil war or works out some mechanism of partition-or partitions.
USA will be a difficult country to carve up : it doesnt divide easily into two even halves : the west has all the mineral and oil reserves, the east has all the water, people and agriculture. Now west alone can hold parity if the east is further divided into two sections -north eastern US and SE US. but such a split would be difficult to imagine. There is no north-south AND east-west divide that works easily to carve up the US socially or in trends in my opinion.
