I understand viewpoint but I am not convinced at the pace of building cushion for disruption of globalization in India. Indian economy is not ready for it, major Section of Indian inc is not ready for it and substantial no of people whose livelihood depends upon it directly or indirectly is ready for it.

All noise and jumla. Nothing gonna happen. The way it works that to remove the fed judges you need 2/3 majority and that is written into the constitution. Besides, Reps only have a slim majority in the house to launch impeachment proceedings. Nothing gonna happen.

We are here because we are best of the best. we are the borg. Assimilating them and sending $$$$ back home. Yes, there is only 3-4 borg assimilators per ship here, but it aint easy replacing us.
No company on earth is gonna let go of best of the best that come at only minor extra cost.

Really? What really struck me as how much this sounds like many office whatsapp group that I've been part of. Its like the company has to quickly execute a new project so they pull in different team and department leads in one group.
 
No issues with rough language or even the casual tone.
It's a group, not email communication. The idea is to communicate info amongst small group of people dealing specific challenges.

but, it was a collosal fk up.
Let's just say it again. It was as big a fk up as it can get in the context of what this group represents. usually if this happened in private sector, heads would roll.

Coming to technology, it's is unbelievable that these guys are using Signal and even worse, there literally is no check on who can access it. Most small private companies would institute user check, some even multi factor authentication and approval checks for such high risk groups.
It's shocking that this was not done. It's not the fault of the people in the chat, they are not the nuts and bolts guys.

It looks like the whole IT process with in is very pedantic if you could add someone outside of Org into an app designed to be used within the Org.
 
the way things are going, i think america will decouple from its european allies to woo the russians for whatever geopolitical reasons, most likely to pull them towards american side so there would be a little "distance" between russians and chinese

as for europeans, germany is in no position to take lead due to its own internal fissures, UK is ripe with islamic extremists + liberal labour party things, poland is strong and stable as of now but they too are backed by americans and once they pull the rug under europeans it can't be said that poland will stand strong under current setup or euro government
the only one who's monkey balancing it to some extent and can emerge as leader of euros is France
