US has bought itself a big trouble by supporting three regime changes in last one year. The last and the latest is Syria where Islamists have taken over under the garb of controlling ISIS. In Bangladesh, Islamists have taken over with US help to start an unheard of fight with India. For the last few years, Islamists with a tie & suit are encouraging the die hard Islamists to control all activities of Pakistan.

It is just a matter of time that Islamism will confront the West in a big way. A beginning has been made when a truck is driven into shoppers in Germany and US. Before that many acts of stabbing and what not have happened.

US Supreme Court doesn't meddle in affairs of governance like ours do. But they hold enormous power. More so because the justices get tenure for life, unlike ours.

The president can choose judges, but the president cannot bypass the judgement with executive orders. He needs the support of Congress to bring new legislation, or get it overturned by the judiciary itself
