Regarding concerts in Saudi, I posted a comment that how can any "philosophy" ever be against a core human trait like music, which is one of the primary sources of beauty in the world. The replies from muzzies are hilarious. From converted subcontinentals of course. Thought of sharing it here.

I nearly fell off my chair when the host reeled off statistics of UAE involvement rather that of Abu Dhabi in various local conflicts spanning the ME & Africa.

If you thought it's only Qatar punching way above its weight , think again.

It seems all these ME tin pot Sheikhdoms & the Mullahcracy in Iran have their own private gigs which are pretty extensive & lucrative too.

Must watch episode IMO .

They were/are the Robin to Saudi's Batman, now Batman has decided to retire after being thrashed by the Houther.

In the aforementioned competition with the Houther, the Emiratis unironically grabbed this Yemeni island called Socotra, not under control of Houthias but the "legitimate govt" of Yemen.

It's really sad that our Vishwaguru-land doesn't do any such expeditionary warfare antics when some Gulf sheikhdoms do.
