Can anyone shed light on J-10C fighter Jet Porkistan bought from China? I have few questions I couldn't find shit on the internet. It is the same for most fighter Jets China operates.

• How is it possible Porkistan bought 36 J-10C for just $1.6 billion including training and weapons package? The weapons included 240 PL-15E missiles. For comparison, our Rafale deal with France was for almost 8 billion Euros. Out of which 500 million Euros went just to acquire 250 Meteor missiles. How can the Chinese make fighter jets so cheaply? Supply chain, labor costs none of them add up.

• How well does AESA radar in J-10C perform? What are it's specifications? What about the Engine WS-10? Is it maintenance friendly?

There are shit loads of questions. But you barely get any information from anywhere on the internet. Ofcourse, these military secrets are not meant to be available on internet. Still some sources can give approximate answers. But I cannot find much with respect to Chinese Jets. And why don't Chinese Jets operate in air shows? Even US fields F-35, F-22 jets in air shows.

Next 10-15 years India should just look to get the Tejas Mk2, AMCA and Kaveri done.

The problem isn't the economy.

It's the repercussions.

Right now hypothetically if we go to war with Pak, Pak with Chinese indirect help and their army can cause a lot of havoc. We will win but there will be pain.

A war done in 2040 or later means Pak can be damaged very easily because our forces will overwhelm them with or without Chinese help. Also most other countries (including China) will give less support to Pak.

Let me give an example.

Right now they have 20 JC-10s bought for 1.6 billion compared to our 36 Rafales bought for 8 billions.

That's a 1.8:1 advantage

If the prices were the same it would be 100 Rafales and a 5:1 advantage.

Considering our economy will be bigger by 18x or more by 2040 we can maybe make it an 8:1 advantage.

Considering we can self-produce our own planes, we will be able to make the planes at a cheaper price than the Pakis can buy from the Chinese. That can prolly make it a 10:1 advantage.
