Launch: PSLV-XL C61 - EOS 09 (aka RISAT 1B), CGUSat, Leap-1 (DS) and 3 foreign satellites 18 May 2025

Mail-SPL-468-X60-2x
Armed forces getting lol after lol with their satellite till now. IRNSS series failures, nvs2 failure, Gisat2 and EOS09 failed.

Isro is escaping scrutiny for some time since the end user is military and folks are still in coolaid of how cost effective isro.

The replacement take years to replenish for them due to abysmal launches we are doing every year.

Now imagine 54 SBS sats in next 3 years. I am getting a bad feeling.

outsource a few to spaceX. ISRO cannot be trusted to launch all of this on their own.

Man, this was important spy satellite that could help very much in next war or skirmish of which probability is high.
This type of shit is happening with very important satellites too much.

As long as ISRO can work on the issue and rebound with in a month or two we are good.

ISRO sats are working find for us as of now, we are not utilising any western navigations sats thanks to ISRO

and we are not depending on some foreign sats for high resolution monitoring of enemy thanks to ISRO

We are literally having 4 navic sats in proper working condition now. We launched 11 and 7 of them were lost due to atomic clock issues and Pyro valve failure. Those are crippled and can't give full performance.

We lost an communication satellite twice for military. Now lost 2 eos sats again.

So yes, we are dire need to extra sats and Isro screwed up further.

As for fact finding they will take an year to. Give explanation. But it will take years to relaunch the sats, since Isro can't able to do more than 5 launches per year.

U saying absolutely right but now we going up in ladder, now westerns has more eyes on us.

Better don't take chance use spacex for critical launches. See hw many sattelite we loss and we surrounded by enemy.

Hw this is possible everytime??

Use spacex.

Or asked isro to fix all looses within time line. Until keep rest projects aside.

Many times outsourcing manufacturing results in quality issues but in long term this approach brings multi dimensional gains and scale.

Almost all critical components beside strategic comms are being sourced from SMEs,

this will result in start ups with good backing from private conglomerate to start launching PSLVs or similar designs instead of ISRO and ISRO concentration on sats and strategic programs.

ISRO is a bloody joke. How many fking satellite launches will they botch? Better to outsource all future military satellite launches to SpaceX or the French, since these idiots are unable to control their quality. ISRO needs a complete purge top-down. Can't believe we still have people who think ISRO is better than DRDO
@TopWatcher
With 95% of success rate of PSLV and the new version of GSLV, any failure is simply an exceptional case.
Anyone who believes that launches should happen from Spacex/France/another foreign entity is too uneducated to even comment on ISRO related threads (same as you are too incompetent to comment on any topic anyways).

You both have been resident lalu yadavs of DFI & now DFB for years.
If there are any more nonsensical and non technical rants with no logical elaboration, I will handout permanent bans.

I hv full faith in ISRO. But my concerns only is why failure happening with critical sattelites ? Nothing else

PSLV-C39- IRNSS-1H Failure
GSAT-6A- Failure launch was perfect
GSLV-F10- GISAT-1 Failure
NVS-02 or IRNSS-1K malfunction launch was again good.
These are the satellites we have lost due to ISRO.
All of these satellites are important ones that can change the face of the war, latest example being this 2025 skirmish between Paikhanastan and Bharat.
I have no doubt but this is too much of concern.

I hope there is still not someone in ISRO living campus and thinking THAT SPACE MUST BE PEACEFUL or I HAVE ALREADY BEEN CONTACTED BY NASA SO WHO CARES even after seeing all those jihadi attacks, IMF terrorist funding and Orange man whims.

If nation is not saved then who will save them, the peaceniks guys and aunties.
