NSG need to get completely overhauled including weapons, tactics and equipment.

Since NSG likes burning money on the primary weapon, and then completely disregard optics/ ergonomics, PPEs, general kit, etc. Here's the new SIG SG563 SBR and the Carbine.

Which is why it's in line with NSG's behaviour. Buying those expensive Sig 550s and not investing in plate carriers, ballistic helmets, etc. Should've bought cheap Colt M4s with a red dot/4x, forward grip and LAM. Saving money to spend on other stuff. They burned money by paying $3500 per gun back then. A Colt M4 was $800. So I suggest buying these new SG563s at a mark-up, and then walking around with steel helmets, absolute garbage messy load carriers, biker knee pads, and maybe one optic per gun. Gotta be consistent.​

But to be honest,during those times M-4s were not that much a reliable one as many reports were coming in from early Gwot days and other guns in 5.56 were FNC,Sa-80 or Famas which were not that much great or obsolete by that time.Sigs were bought by many countries and were reliable and accurate.

Those block 1 SOPMOD rifles didn't like a day of harsh sand and dust in Afghanistan. Gas system fouled from fine dust, and sand mixed in with oil and created muck, jamming the gun. So the guns needed frequent cleaning, and well trained armorers were rare during the initial years of the war. But think of the environments NSG would actually operate in. Mostly urban and short deployments. The M4 was perfect for NSG.
This fully kitted out Block 1 would've cost less than a bare bones SG550.
