I agree, a bhukha nanga pakistan and it's new scorched field marshal might not be under any legal or moral obligation to record or report battle losses. Hence, after getting pounded so visibly, they are celebrating victory, however this time their public is not completely falling for pakistani the propoganda it's a slight change.
if declaring asset loss leads to any insight on tactics or other capabilities IAF wants kept secret, then it might be made confidential and not released to public.
case in point - no Rafale loss may be inferred as IAF drones spoofing as Rafales to trick PAF (yeah i know, not the best example but you get the gist) which no other AF has used till date, not even Ukraine IMO
i hope you are right and i am wrong. but even then, the report will be too little too late
