Nice, i see the thermal clip-on mounted in the front as it should be. So, i guess all the pics what we have seen and thought clip-on on the rear is actually a night sight and not thermal.

it looks like at first they were using thermal as a separate optic from the mepro but, with experience they figured out its better to mount the thermal in the front and use both optics. I am just speculating.

I think they know where to mount thermal its basic thermal 101 thermal can't see through glass
This I what I wrote few hundred pages earlier in same thread on this very topic its just speculation

This thermal in back maybe because said soldiers in photo wanted to use ir laser pointers and would use thermal by flip out magnifer mount to observe and scan and engage through mepro mor pro
Or maybe he just wanted to use mepro mor and thermal seprately by cliping thermal side out
Maybe its just theory but it seems to be most possible logic
