Indian Economy

Looks like the G2 Scenario already arrived.

1. USA who do not want to raise another China. So trying to meddle with us.
2. So China who do not want another manufacturer similar to their scale. So they are also actively sabotaging us.
3. Now both US and China doing some backroom drama to maintain some status quo.

As of us concerned, we should speed up FTA with EU, Ease Business doing, whip our private big money dhandos to further invest in different field.

Govt should be careful even after the trade deal its likely Trump can put tariffs on India,
better stall the deal for couple of years
Once a deal is made, he needs to stand by it. He can put pressure to make changes after some time . But he cannot back away from that. If he backs away from one thing, we can also do the same.

Global original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) are sourcing aerospace components and services worth over USD 2 billion annually, a senior government official said on Friday. Highlighting the opportunities in the Indian aviation and aerospace areas, Civil Aviation Secretary Samir Kumar Sinha also said the country is becoming a destination for MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) activities that will help with lower costs for airlines, generate more jobs and enhance service capabilities.

India is one of the world's fastest-growing civil aviation markets and carriers have placed significant aircraft orders as they expand their fleets as well as networks to cater to rising air travel demand.

Sinha said global OEMs (original equipment manufacturers) source more than USD 2 billion worth aerospace components and services from India annually.

He also emphasised the need to scale up responsibly with focus on sustainability while speaking at the curtain raiser event for the Wings India 2026, an aviation conference to be held in January 2026 in Hyderabad.

He is the OG apparently, Hyderabad is what it is because of him
He definitely is the OG for AP atleast, while he was ruling Sri City was getting lots of investment, when ((( Jagan ))) came it didn't get any and established factories started leaving.

Hope he gets another term in that state and doesn't take needless panga for gibs with Centre next time.
another thing, he's the reason why Telangana region isn't 90% lol salaam infested, massive expansion of Hyderabad and prevented spread of naxals in eastern Andhra, CBN was prime target for lol salaamis for decades !

also we have to praise the state/local level congress cadre in those states, cause they were getting killed by maoist left-right-center in those days, for all the sins of central khangressi jamaat, state units held up in the face of the biggest expansion of maoist.

Just look at the pure joy on the face of this Mizo man, witnessing a train for the very first time. It's a reminder of how deeply lopsided our infrastructure development has been in previous era. For decades, central states were showered with railway lines, while vast regions—especially in the Northeast and north western border areas—were left behind, simply because they didn’t offer the "right" demographic or electoral advantage.

This moment is a testament to long-overdue change. Credit where it’s due—this is a big step forward under Modi, following the groundwork laid by Vajpayee, who launched the transformative Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana. That initiative brought real roads and bridges to villages that had only footpaths or broken kutcha tracks.

yes....other thing is, in mountain areas railway projects r very costly to build nd geography is very sensitive to build big infrastructure. thats why himalayan state also hv very limited railway lines. although railway reached in uttarakhand near 1900. i watched train first time two years ago😂 (when traveling from haldwani to dehradun).

No it is because these people egged on by party/rebel group and pastors would do oogah boogah protests and chimpouts over "dirty black skinned pagans coming and making us minority in our own land via train".

If you see a railway line now it's because the relevant screws have been tightened and software have been updated on the ruling party there.

Shade frankly such protests are everywhere especially in places where tgey dud not even smell wiff of development before. Early on people used to oppose bhakra and dams in general as they believed dams extracted energy out of water and nade it lifeless. Its another matter ppl in hills are building resentment slowly over dans and highways doing a number on ecology in fragile Himalayas. Good thing us govt is more preffering run of the mill ..micro turbines instead large mega dams earlier.

This really isn't being celebrated as it should, Doomsayers immediately point out to our per capita incomes being dismal but considering where we started from beating Japan is still a great achievement and something that we should we proud about

The urgent need to change the Indian Education System.

To begin, I would like to bring up a quote by Nelson Mandela about Education and it's importance.

"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world"

The above quote is self explanatory, I don't need to write a long post giving a big Motivational speech explaining the importance of education for a country's development and well-being. I see a lot of discussions here about the Indian Economy, India's national security and conflict with our neighbours, Geopolitics, R&D projects, Military & armed forces affairs and so much more but I see little to no one bring about the topic of our education system.

As a citizen of the world's most populated country with a population of more than 1.4 Billion people, I can confidently say that one very important thing we ought to focus on is our Education System which we are not giving enough attention towards. I understand that over the years the GOI is trying to implement changes through the NEP but we need more radical changes & shifts to truly yield meaningful results.

From what I have experienced throughout my K-12 education is that we tend give more emphasis on higher classes studies (especially 10+2, College, University etc) than lower class studies. This is understandable because we know that our higher education is what gives us more skills and in turn is what enables us to get a job which can help us earn the most and contribute more to our country's economy and R&D.
E.g - An Aerospace Engineer is more skilled and as a result will contribute more to a country's economy (He/She can contribute to our economy by working in aerospace industries and firms, work in R&D of aircraft for Civil and military applications, work in space industry etc) than say a 8th or 10th pass student. What can a 8th or 10th pass student do that a college graduate cannot to earn a living? I do not think there is much.
Maybe a 10th pass can work at a restaurant or bar as a waiter but an engineer ( maybe Unemployed/part-time) can do the same. A 10th pass can earn money by tutoring lower class students, a college graduate can do this too and better. There are many more ways an engineer (not just an aerospace engineer but any engineer from any branch) can contribute to the engineering sector of a country.
The above is just an example to show the large disparity in skill gap between those who pursued higher studies and those who didn't.

But does this mean that we should completely neglect lower class studies and focus all of our attention towards higher class studies? I would say no, we should give both adequate importance. Lower studies form the foundation of your higher studies, and as you know the saying "You can't build a great building on a weak foundation".

Our entire curriculum needs to be revised especially STEM subjects along with other study domains like NON-STEM (Arts, Humanities Commerce), our Textbooks need to be updated and made easier to understand, our Teachers need to improve. There is so much room for changes but we are unfortunately not taking any Steps towards the implementation of these changes!

We have so much youth in our country who want to willing learn and contribute to our academia not just for the sake of India but Humanity as a whole. But our education system is what is holding them back from truly exploiting their true full potential! And this is not the fault of our youth who wish to put in genuine efforts in learning, but the failure of our own education system. It's not a surprise that many of our youth look to foreign countries for their education.

I think we should open a thread to discuss about our Education System, it's current state and where we should implement changes and more. Requesting permission from the mods @ezsasa @Suryavanshi @Blademaster and everyone else for the same. There is so much more I wish to write about our education system's pathetic state but I think it's better to stop here, I have written enough.

To end this post, I hope we take the right steps to change our education system for the better good!🙏🏻

Can you give an example, Like what exactly should we change in the curriculum..?

I have heard this thing "Our Education system needs to be change " thing for decade , I am not saying system is best but so far it's working. I also understand there are lot of room for improvement but very few people come up with something tangible, who are crying about the system.

In the this present era of internet we can literally learn whatever we want, however we want from the Youtube, Swayam, etc...! Not saying we shouldn't blame or improve the system, but if someone is lagging behind the System itself does not deserve all the blame.

Still from My perspective following changes we do need in the System
1. Education should be in Mother tongue (This will not go down with lot of people I know.). Reason for this is because I think students would be able to understand the subject far better in their own language instead of English especially STEM subjects .
2. Less importance to English and little bit more to Hindi (will not go down with South state apparently)
3. Logic as a subject in lower classes
4. Ethics as a subject in lower classes (I am a philosophy major so I have soft spot for this subjects)

This really isn't being celebrated as it should, Doomsayers immediately point out to our per capita incomes being dismal but considering where we started from beating Japan is still a great achievement and something that we should we proud about

Critics are born everyday. They lack confidence in themselves. Surprisingly most of the critics listen to western anti - India propaganda.
