No reply to the ATC after the mayday call? No reply seems suspicious. Aircraft gave a mayday call just after taking off and then there was no response , something went very wrong very fast not giving the crew any time to do anything it seems.

Looking at the flightradar X account tweet and the videos surfacing it seems that the aircraft stalled and was not able to gain altitude and started plummeting down.

Very sad to hear about the crash involving an Air India B787!
I expect casualities to be in the hundreds. I believe there are little to no survivors of the ordeal.
My heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims.
I sincerely hope that there is a thorough investigation into this incident to ascertain the cause of the crash, was it pilot error or some mechanical failure of the plane itself? We will know all this in due time.
