Tumko kya problem hai bhai khus hone do logo ko thoda.are bc sab ek hi photo daal ke circlejerk karlo, asraam nahi aaya dual pylon pe ki sab ka nikal raha hai
are bhrata gussa kyu ho rahe ho, hum sab thoda frustrated hain ki abhi tak mk1a deliver nahi hua hai, pls gussa mat karo yaar, plsssTumko kya problem hai bhai khus hone do logo ko thoda.
Haan woh to mujhe pata hai. Aur mein bhi thoda frustrated hoon uske liye. Par jo hona hai hoga, humare hato mein kuchh hai to nhi. Mera mat hai ki forum mein thodi sakaratmakta rehni chahiye. Avashyakata se jyada nakaratmak hona bhi anuchit hai, kyunki usse jo achhe kaam bhi hote hai woh bhi upekshit hojate hai.are bhrata gussa kyu ho rahe ho, hum sab thoda frustrated hain ki abhi tak mk1a deliver nahi hua hai, pls gussa mat karo yaar, pls
bhrata shri aapke dwara itne shuddh hindi dwara ki gayi vartalap ko sun kar man prafullit ho gaya. ashirwad dein bhrata shriHaan woh to mujhe pata hai. Aur mein bhi thoda frustrated hoon uske liye. A sight to behold! LCA Tejas spotted with two ASRAAM missiles on dual rack pylon. View attachment 40564
bhaijaan there is a reason why our babooz were pursuing indigenous ng ccm coz there is limitation to integration of gora missile, thats why our version of asraam will be made and integrated on roosi su30Will this be integrated on Su-30mki?
I can only find articles saying "maybe" and "perhaps"
It's a Bri'ish missile and our Su30 is ebil ruzzian so...
Yeah because babus at HAL and MoD even after so many years didn't come across the idea of conformal fuel tanks as an airframe design upgrade after Mk-1A, not even in Mk-2.btw are these fuel tanks necessary for it?

Fuel maxing is a good to have feature. Airforces around the world avoid it on AC with sleak wings having high wing loading like F16 , J17 blunder (non-fiber composite airframe bonus) etc. But you must have seen in pictures how Mirages or Rafale doesn't shy away from carrying drop tanks, they are like permanently attached. Similar delta wings help LCA to achieve quite low wing loading, it helps to maintain airframe life despite missile and Droptank maxing. Extra fuel also comes handy to compensate drag generated due to delta wing.View attachment 40678
Edited pic to show an A2A maxxxing loadout on tejas

What a waste it could carry more missiles
When I asked HVT sir about CFTs and dorsal hump like mig-29 for Tejas few years ago he said Tejas is good in its current state.Yeah because babus at HAL and MoD even after so many years didn't come across the idea of conformal fuel tanks as an airframe design upgrade after Mk-1A, not even in Mk-2.

best sensor combo lol, jai ho gang is another level. mf cannot go to combat without pods. it doesnt even have a maws. be real, it can atmost take on jf17 and block 30 or block 50 f16 along with some old chini aircraft on eastern front.
but a much needed filler for squadron strength till we get mk2 and amca
i see you are correct, tejas mk1 and mk1a have been ToTed to industry and the lead is hal, the weapons integration like this is done by hal under guidance of adaI'm sorry to say this but this is by far the worst possible dual pylon arrangement you can have. Did HAL or ADA design this? It just wreaks of a lack of confidence to try out more efficient and effective dual racks because you are scared of aerodynamic integration which in turn means you are just not confident in your ability in aerodynamics. Missile integration and pylon design is serious business and the aerodynamic studies are as involved as those of entire aircraft.
I can literally hear the thoughts of the intern who designed this "Just keep the missiles as far apart as possible, so I don't have to work on aerodynamic interaction. Oh no! this now eats into the next pylon and almost eliminated changes on the next pylon - oh fuck it at least this way I can show something and won't have to deal with the aerodynamic interaction. We will deal with the problem later when users ask for more weapons on the primary pylons - somebody else's problem".
This seems like HAL to me, since I have plenty of colleagues who deal with HAL and can attest to their incompetence (folks working at MBDA, Martin Baker, BAE etc.) - I have usually pushed back on them but after seeing this there is little doubt.
I'm sorry but I would not think twice before firing whoever is responsible for this.
