French Rafale repaired using Indian parts

I think we should take some overt action against the companies involved, and privately ask them to do their tricks to circumvent sanctions, and continue the trade.

No. I would tell G7 to fuck off. They didn’t break any Indian laws and then I would share data of European companies breaking and violating Indian laws and policies and demand that EU go after them. If they don’t then tell them to utterly shut the fuck up and fuck the eff off.

The Trump effect :troll:

Wouldn't be surprised if they are now more inclined for a limited India-EU FTA rather than on-purpose blocking before with insisting on India importing general purpose agricultural items from EU, knowing India won't agree

I m sure India won't mind lowering tariffs on higher end agricultural products but the fact remains that India must be free and able to guarantee her food security without any constraints whatsoever. Too many poor people that are on the borderline between full meal and starvation. EU must be made to understand this.

Why should we give EU easy access to India??? USA has been trying for a FTA for years
unsuccessfully, Don't think this will happen anytime soon? IMO

It is about trading access for other access to EU market. High end expensive agricultural products are something we don't care about because it is not related to food security. Just keep the basic foodstuffs such as rice, grain, potatoes, vegetables, fruits, spices, nuts, and basic agricultural products necessary to keep our population well fed and well nourished out of the FTA agreement. But stuff such as chocolates, processed meat, expensive cheese, prepared food such as ready to heat prepared meals, gourmet stuff, I am sure that India can go easy on those. Besides those products will be already out of reach for most of the population and will not replace Indian vendors anytime soon but only to supplement and to give ideas and creative forces for Indian vendors to look at and improve.

Chinese can open their markets and compete I don't know if India can??

My guy our govt aren't retards, they wouldn't mind lowering tarrifs on high end items like cheese, wine, what have you.

Thing is the Euros have insisted on market access for their milk, vegetables, cereals etc type staple products, not high end, they know ANY Indian govt will not budge on this, Congress or BJP because of your farmers being a large voting block.

My point is earlier from Euros there was no interest or intention for the FTA, if there was they would have come up with a solution acceptable to both parties instead of being obstinate.

A similar trend can be seen with the Germans trying to hawk their submarine, earlier they used to do all kinds of export control dramas.

There are strategic complications too. No gormint would want to cede grounds on food security.

Gormint is at blame too. These idiots are still insisting on 'greater mobility of skilled professionals' (read more professional and student visas) and it is a major reason why their UK FTA discussions are stuck.

Bring up Dutch, German and other European countries' assistance to Pakistan's military and nuclear programs, and how that has endangered Indian lives. Mention historic events like Goa in 1961 and Bangladesh in 1971, and the Europeans' stances back then.

They are going to sanction the Nayara Enegry refinery

Reminder that these eurofags are the biggest sponsors of paki terrorism through their GSP+ quota.
They're the largest export market for porkstan as a result of it. And they continue this despite having hundreds of global terrorists and terror outfits, including TRF that got designated as one just today for Pahalgam terror attack.

Best thing would be to show a middle-finger to more Rafales and rather buying 114 Su-57MKI. And yes, a middle finger to the 120KN engine project too, and fuck those AIP German submarines too.

Those Baguettes will scam us again anyways. But then NDA is made up of nincompoop pussies.

Create a dedicated company to export more pakistanis, bangladeshis, rohingyas, somalis and other muslim africans to EU. It should be the only way to deal with them.

OTOH this could be scheme to squeeze out the Russian stake from the Nayara Refinery

I mean if they really wanted to hurt us they could sanction Mukes who sells them the most refined oil from russian crude

Doesn't matter, at some point India too needs to raise similar concerns. EU is effectively keeping porkistan afloat by giving them the GSP+ quota, sponsoring terrorism against the Indian state. As laser-eyes says, "eurofag problems are world's problems but world's problems aren't eurofag problems" is their thinking.

Then do the needful, scrap these expensive deals. They will eventually start treating us the same way as China or Russia or Iran or NoKo for not being their bitch. Flood them with muslim refugees. They both are made for and deserve each other.

I think the X post makes it look like more anti-India than what it actually is? Maybe she is playing to domestic gallery/votebank.

Oil prices are already so much down compared to when $60 price cap was imposed in 2022 & 2023. Another 15% price cap cut (should be around $51 against current oil price of $67-70)
The price of Urals crude oil was recorded at 16.77 U.S. dollars per barrel below the benchmark Brent on September 20, 2023 (based on a rolling average of the past five days). The difference increased after a price cap on Russian oil was announced on December 2, 2022, and took effect on December 5, 2022

Only India specific sanction is that of Russia owned Vadinar refinery, there are already talks happening on it's sale to Reliance, upon which I assume these sanctions would not apply.

The cap is a G7 initiative aimed at limiting the amount of money Russia makes by exporting oil to countries across the globe such as China and India.

The oil price cap, set at $60 by the G7 in 2022, is designed to limit the price Moscow can sell oil around the world by banning shipping firms and insurance companies dealing with Russia to export above that amount.

Under the new EU scheme — which is expected to get the backing of G7 allies like Britain and Canada — the new level will start off at $47.6 and can be adjusted as oil prices change in the future.

In adddition, officials said the EU is blacklisting over 100 more more vessels in the "shadow fleet" of ageing tankers used by Russia to circumvent oil export curbs.

There are also measures to stop the defunct Baltic Sea gas pipelines Nord Stream 1 and 2 from being brought back online.

Among other targets, sanctions will be placed on a Russian-owned oil refinery in India and two Chinese banks as the EU seeks to curb Moscow's ties with international partners.

American interest = European cote interest suicide but they love it.

Still, Europeans see the world through an Anglo-Saxon binary lens (race, "we are civilized people")

A European could take an entire AK-47 magazine to the head for Anglo interests

Yet they will still serve American interests, even if it leads to European self-destruction

I also want that kind of loyalty and dedication in a girl

May Lord Hanuman grant me the strength to find one like that
