Ironically, an apt comparison.

Gardens are often not self sufficient and you need umpteen stuff like fertilizers, seeds, flower bulbs etc to give you that curated effect you see in most gardens, i.e. its not natural.

And now that the garden's unlimited access to the larger, richer and more diverse "Forest" has been severely curtailed and will get curtailed even more so in the future, I wonder what we'll see.

Nah, nothing this serious. The owner is a drug addict, likely mentally ill too. He considers these chuds to be his buddies so altered the platform to facilitate their musings - altered the algo, reinstated a number of previously banned batshit crazy people, botted likes (and then took them private) and tweaked the feed to ensure an endless loop of rage bait posts. If you notice carefully, only a few hundred chuds (with or without blue ticks) are dictating the functioning of that platform.

Xitter has actually suffered coz of these abrupt changes - advertisers have fled, interactions have gone down and the platform overall has lost users at breakneck speed. Even Elmo has suffered and his tesla stocks are on a free fall. But he likely does not care.

There is this article on some gora media (came out a week back) that claims that Elmo is obsessed with his idea of 'fixing the world' through DOGE and his xitter posts - so much so that he has stopped caring about tesla and all that.

Interestingly, Elmo's purchase of xitter was tied to him mortgaging tesla stocks and securing loans against them. The way the stock is crashing it will be interesting to see how the drug addict reacts if and when the margin calls are triggered.
