My appeal(wishlist) to Trump Mahodaya... especially if you are as well meaning as you appear to be:

1. Leave India uncontested in the Indian subcontinent... no to minimal interference... no lectures on democracy/human rights please.

2. Let Indians work in the US... don't give citizenship... let them work 5-7 yrs then send them back with their bank account full of dollars... work on a worker "rotation" policy... this way hindu civilization will retain the smart "brains" here in India.

3. Understand the illegal immigration is a problem for both... we don't have an issue when you act on it on your soil... so you too shouldn't have when we implement NRC in India.

4. Cooperate in military technology arena... sure extract the price.

5. Allow/Cooperate/Coordinate in the elimination of Radical Islamic terrorism in India's neighborhood when India takes belligerent steps on this matter.

Everything is give & take... negotiations should lead to a deal.
Bhai woh usa ka president hai
India ka nahi

i was assuming republicans losing their way is a recent phenomenon, they lost their way after 1st iraq war.
reagan second term is a literal sweep 525 out of 538, no murican president has managed it since. trump is no where close to reagan.

TBH, Raegan was an anomaly, because :
1. he got shot (which back then counted for a lot more of a big deal than it does today in the media) and more importantly:
2. he made a joke about his age on presidential debate that showed he is relaxed, humorous and calm as a man with his wits about him. The moderator asked him the EXACT SAME thing people ask Trump/Biden these days - that being the oldest ever potus (raegan was in his second term), is he concerned about carrying out the functions of the potus from a physical standpoint and Raegan answered with something like 'absolutely not and oh, i wish to say that i dont want to make age an issue in this campaign, i shall not be campaigning on my opposition's youth and inexerpience'. Even Walter Mondale ( his adversary) burst out laughing.
Its considered the joke that won the election.

>green card queue
>citizenship by birth.

Patrakars, not even once. :bplease:

Unless they mean that our guys run some scam where they quickly pop out 1-2 "American citizens" with their wife while on H1B and then do drama of PLEASE DONT DEPORT SAAR WE FAMILY SAAAR
They indeed do that.

Reagan passed the Immigration Reform and Control Act (IRCA or the Simpson–Mazzoli Act) in 1986 which forever flipped entire sections of the US from Red to Blue (e.g. California)
