ADA Tejas Mark-II/Medium Weight Fighter

By time we fly MK2 Pakistan would have 5th generation jet and by time we fly AMCA Pakistan & china would fly 6+ or 7th generation jet - thanks to HAL & DRDO & DM officials - it is really a joke that we are planning all this without securing engines first , i do not know how these low IQ babus have relied on US company for these engines

That's it?? You made an account on DFB to say this??

This is something I have heard thausands of times on DFI/DFB/BRF.

What's the genius thinking behind still having Imported content other than Engine and Semiconductor Chip. I can understand these two are hard and takes ancillary mature Industries. HAL got whooping recently after some country I think Dutch banned export certain fuel component and then they scrambled to a Indian company who has the capability and ability to do it and now is on the way to realization. Similarly the Moog actuators are on gravy train until recently Anantha Krishnan exposed that Indigenous Actuators are ready a FUCKING 10 years ago and still HAL hasn't integrated it. It seems HAL employees outsourced every component to foreign companies for bribes and until top to down push came, they never intended to achieve any Indigenisation it seems.

Can someone tell me what components the corrupt HAL babus intend to run a gravy train again except Engine and Semiconductors?

Add on to corrupt MoD, Air Force we now have corrupt HAL babus.

DFB needs to a thorough cleaning job so that such troll accounts don't pop up over and over again.

The thing is Great Satan is it's pretentious nature is it's innate virtue. It's just a two face charade it puts up regularly. It says it cares about Minorities but bombs them. It says it cares about Malpractices but uses its own CIA to sabotage defence deals. It is probably laughing that our HAL babus are brought that easily.

i can apologies if i mean to hurt anyone but my blood boils whenever i see new deadline to rollout MK2
Relax, these are Jai ho accounts and will always cry foul if you have different opinion than “jai ho”. For them we already are “Chu***Power” as we have Rafale miracle and space age weapons from dozens of countries which has population lesser than 1/2 of our second tier cities.

Guys I made that for reference of a absolutely unit A2A Tejas Mark2, seeing how many i could fit with doubl-racks (can't be placed side-by-side)... It's not real. The outer ranga can't take double-rack's weight & IAF think 6-8 BVRs as adequate.
If the hard points are adjusted little then dual racks can fit side by side

How about we make quad launcher for the inner wing hard point?🚀🚀🚀🚀

In what real world scenario do we need these many AAMs.. that too on a light/medium weight fighter?
I'm just doing time pass.:playball: But some people talk of missile truck firing AAMs with their radar off, getting target coordinates from data link.🎯📡

Not possible,

Infra red guided missile work on this principle ( no radiation) but it can be tracked by MAWS. These missile also have less ranges so Missile truck need to go very close.

BVR missile can be launched from distance but there is delay in data transfer by data link so these missile have their own radar seekers ( Active homing phase). Once active RWR alert the pilot.

Also, we are heavily outnumbered against China. So If they decide to play numbers & launch a saturation attack then multiple targets can be fired upon. Otherwise why would Su-30MKI show off 12 AAMs?

Found a Rafale diagram with 12 AAMs also

Yeah su30 makes sense.. has whole lot of fuel and can play the hot/cold game longer than the light fighters. The lighter ones should have just enough to engage and basically fire what they have till their fuel lasts and rtb. With heavier missile load on them the combat rad will also reduce.. so every aircraft type should just have the optimum number for each mission type.

> I didn't understand your lines. what is not possible? To put 18 AAMs on MWF THEORETICALLY? or datalinked targetting?
> MAWS is an optical seeker in IR & UV bands which track incoming missile plume whether it is RF BVR AAM or IR CCM.
> The concept of data linked firing is not new anymore & MLUed 4gen jets are also trying to implement or MLUed already. The entire world is trying to implement mass-scale sensorfusion & single picture of battle.
> The missile truck just need to have AAMs with sufficient range. An active radar jet will be detected sooner than passive radar jet.
> The lead active jet passes & sync target coordinates to other passive jets which are 10s of Kms away at different altitudes, like pack hunters. The passive jets computers passes those coordinates to their AAMs in LOAL mode. The AAMs fly in mid-course correction mode, switch from passive to active mode in terminal phase. To reduce the hops & delay in transmission the AAMs can get updates from lead active jet, just like a cellphone switches towers as people travel.
> IR CCM doesn't need this system as its seeker can lock targets within AAM's short range.
> RWR does alerts the pilot but then it is a game of Tom & Jerry or chance & tactics if AAM hits the jet or not. The BVR-AAM can switch b/w active & passive modes, also to home-on-jamming mode if jammer used. Multi-band seekers are being R&Ded, RF+IR also. So situational awareness is very important, better to stay out of missile's NEZ (No Escape Zone).
