Some News channel reported Black-box analysis center opened in New Delhi.
I can't find that video, the title is not like that.

The analysis should be done in front of Indian team member.
Constant video surevellance should be there accessible to Indian team.

Don't know what happened to the lab opened by AAIB at the DGCA headquarters in New Delhi.
It was only inaugurated in April 2025 and is said to be along the lines of international labs.

lab can be international standards, but not necessarily the expertise of people working there, especially for a few tasks that happen quite rarely.

trainee medical surgeons are not given a free hand in their first surgery either.

Let's do more nuanced thinking. If any Boeing manufacturing defect is indicated, it will be covered up and they will blame it on fuel contamination since that theory is already doing rounds and will send our agencies on a wild goose chase which our public and msm will forget after a couple of years. If a genuine pilot mistake is Indicated, for sure they will call an intl press conference and blame Air India and Bharat for poor pilot training and skills

Just FYI, even the 10ft gigachad Chinaman had to send both of their black boxes to the US a couple of years ago, because they were "severely damaged" upon impact and they lacked the forensic experience and expertise to be able to read it.

The lab inaugurated in April is a new one and AAIB most probably didn't want to play fast fingers and end up permanently damaging the recorder. Maybe AAIB will send a few of their experts to the US this time to see and learn how the process is done.

News channels showed NSG recovering these units, so there should no discrepency in this.
Just guessing, the DVR is in front which landed on surface, while the FDR is in tail which broke off & impacted head-on with the mess building & got stuck.

I studied at a boarding school so multiple trips home every year, all by air.

I also worked with a world renowned not for profit on environment, climate and sustainability for a decade, with multiple trips a year to various states in India and abroad to Asia , Europe and Africa.

Now i live and work in the UK with a consultancy, supporting clients with global supply chains, so travel to EU, Brazil, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Malaysia, Indonesia and India regularly, all on medium/long haul flights. Not to mention two trip home to India every year.

it was taken in a case but IDK if news channels showed the BB itself.
